It shows as the contract being extended but they arent actually signed
With BA being busy with Rugby 25 and RL 26,
@JNT_BA has a silly question: who do we contact now to find out the status of the game (like future updates and so on)?
SteamDB has been pretty quiet since the last update eight days ago. It would be great to know if updates are paused for now or if we should be holding our breaths waiting for the next one.

Full disclosure / TMI - I had a two week break due to an uncontrollable Nightreign addiction and coming back now with fresh eyes it looks like the last patch has made the gameplay a little smoother yet again. I caught a couple of animations I hadnāt seen before - maybe itās just my poor memory but if these little incremental improvements keep happening weāre going to end up in a good place.
And Border is right - the XP rewards are definitely less frugal this season which was badly needed (imo).

I agree mate, since the last big patch Iāve noticed the following.

a slight uptick in speccies or attempted speccies. I quite like the frequency now. I had the AI take a speccy right on the goal line against me earlier, with an animation I donāt think Iāve noticed before - magnificent

the instance of the AI āautomatic goalā in their forward line has been nerfed. Itās now much more possible to disrupt the kick/tackle or smother more than it was. Iād go as far to say that now the ai can execute it as often as I can.

I had my first missed tackle, often a poorly timed tackle is a push in the back etc but this time I was so late, the tackle just brushed the aiās arm and it was sort of shrugged off and play continued.

Has anyone got a good strategy at getting tackles with one player? Iām trying to get the 15 tackles in a game with a smooth moving midfielder. Any help would be much appreciated
Coach Battle Head to Head game, so you can play 10 min quarters.
Pop your player out on a wing. Take a mark, wait for anyone around to clear out. Handball just beyond the man on the mark so he will chase it, running away from his goal. If no teammates are around, heāll gather and try to turn back towards his goal and into you. As he does this, it gives you a little more time to tackle him.

Anyone seen that big ant are doing a triple FP weekend for NRL26, basically because the community has sooked up about contracts and other aspects of Pro Team. AFL rendition of PT has never received the treatment they are getting right now.

Thanks so much for the tip, was really struggling to get the tackle objectives done, first try using wing was able to get the 15 tackle objective done

Yep it works a treat! Another bonus one is to spoil a marking contest over the back then let the ai gather the spoil first and tackle them.
Also - for tackles in general. Donāt contest the ruck duel, when the ai win the hit out, tackle the receiver.

Is anyoneās challenges not working properly? Thereās a weekly challenge for winning by scoring more behinds than goals and I just did that but the challenge isnāt completing for me

Sorry, not much help to you but that one worked for me without issue.
That way works for sure but my fave method these days is putting the objective player in the ruck. Donāt contest, just go straight for the tackle.
@SlamminSam - just wait a minute. Sometimes it takes a while - the max Iāve had is about two days. Usually itās a few hours.
Another edit - Iāve said it before but the game has never been in a better state imo. The tweaks that are happening to contested play are magnificent. Insufficient intent is balanced again and the way you tackle a player is beginning to matter. Some HTBās are dare I say it skill based. If youāre a dev reading this, keep it up! And also take a bow while youāre at it.

Two days is ridiculous. All my other challenges seem to be instantly updated
I know getting the new Travis boak card isnāt meant to be easy to unlock but dam itās hard trying to get the 2024 edition of boak for one of the objectives 
none on the action house and if he is really overpriced. Just gonna have to keep opening 2024 premiership packs every time I get enough footy points

Yeah itās bloody hard I opened easily 15k in PT coins and then was able to get him for 6k on AH.
I was pretty annoyed about the whole thing

Did you have to do the same thing with the ice cold pendles card? Pay overs on the action house to get him?

Does anyone know of easy ways to get free kicks for.
I have completed 16 of the 17 Pendlebury objectives but stuck on 6 of the 19 captain free kicks required

Scroll back about a dozen posts for increased tips on tackles, tackle near boundary line then let go of the tackle. Youāll often get an out on the full or insufficient intent
