23 is simpler but the difference is so small it makes no sense to buy it. Also 26 has better tackling and more nuanced opposition gameplay than 23 so the newer one might ‘feel’ easier anyway.

Plus current team lists, the promise of more patches, I could go on.

That is very gracious of you! But they really shouldn’t need a support ticket to know the ratings are mucked up for anyone who has adjusted their ratings.

Even if it sounds like an obvious thing it’s always a good idea to raise a ticket. They have mass code etc to look through and things clearly can be missed. Also if more people raise a ticket for something the more likely it is to be fixed (or fixed sooner) :wink:

My two cents - I think there will be. BA have run objectives across seasons before.

Yeah I would only buy AFL23 if I wanted to play with older players who arent in AFL26 because they retired.

We definitely need some capacity to make 3d models for this game…

26 doesn’t retire players, at least in pro team.

Does anyone know if you can create a custom league using lists from 2023?

Maybe you can? I am in a afl chat discord server where we have a whole custom league with this and we made teams in afl23 but idk about making a whole custom competition since the owner said they couldnt find a way to make an actual grand final match.

WAFL and VFL games are too quiet without the songs. To be honest I hope Big Ant adds them in but I wonder if they are copyrighted or something.

any progression on a patch to fix the ratings glitch for people who edited ratings? it’s getting ridiculous

you can edit ratings if you go on the main menu to academy and then player manager and go on the player and go skills.

the glitch is that if you’ve edited ratings. every time there’s a big patch it ruins all your ratings and now basically my best player in my game is lachie cowan and oleg markov and every player is ruined. nick daicos and bont are like 70 rated

It would be nice if BA cared a bit more here. Unless I am misunderstanding, some poor gamers have probably spent weeks getting the players exactly as they want and not only is that gone, but there’s radio silence as well.

One question I have - if you share your team, does that mean it is ‘backed up’ and can be downloaded from the community files? If so, then some onscreen prompts that clearly establish the benefit of sharing would go a long way.

I’m done with this game. I win a pro team ladder leaders match 200-0 and the system thinks i lose and gives me an incorrect final score and incorrect stats at the end of the game. It’s really basic stuff that should work that doesn’t that REALLY grinds my gears. What a waste of a ticket and my time…

Waste of a ticket? If the correct score displayed before the refresh BA should be able to correct the result. If not, agree that’s pretty ordinary. The online player base seems to have shrunk down to the same group of tragics as 23 and the last thing BA want to do is chip away at this group.

How do you get the 9 players wearing number 16 objective to count in the Pendlebury group?
I’ve done it online, offline, with 9 guys, 10 guys and it just won’t count

exactly right… heard nothing about them fixing it. it’s like the offline playing group doesn’t matter. just people who spend money in pro team. they’ll add more pro team cards before they fix this. in fact it feels like they’ll never even fix it at this point

Any trick to getting the “play a game with 9 players wearing the number 16” to work?
I’ve done it with 9, 10, offline, online and it won’t register.
I had the same problem with 4 goals in a quarter with a player.
I couldn’t get the 46 point comeback to work but I see others here did.
Do we just have to cop that some objectives will be glitched for some people?
I’ve opened a ticket, but given my first ticket is more than a month old, I don’t have a lot of faith in that system resolving it in the 2 days before it expires.
