Play Now. In the academy when you edit licensed teams. When itâs free agency time. You cant currently remove players from licensed. So you have to create a whole custom team
I mean you can just leave them out of the lineup and into the reserves?

Game is in a good state right now aside from the AI being nerfed in tackles and players sometimes running past a loose ball
What I would like to see in future updates is more chaos. Centre bounces are always the same. I want to see more fumbles and ball spilling out and bobbling around.
(probably have to wait until next season for anything major again)

Anyone else having issues with interchange not working properly since new update today on Xbox? I will make an interchange and it will show as cued. When there is a break in play that it would previously be completed nothing happens. Check the bench the player may be listed there but then they are playing on the ground. Same issue if on auto interchange and across game modes.
Yep, I reported it earlier. Hopefully itâs a quick fix 
But if itâs play now, itâs not like youâre using all 45+ players on the list? So whatâs the difference with just taking some who has been retired/delisted and putting them in the reserves?
I think youâre really grasping here, if itâs management mode just sim to end of season, not hard at all

Yep, same on ps5. Not sure what the xbox equivalent is, but if you press the touchpad and go through the in-game menus it works.
Also interestingly, if youve done an interchange in the interchange menu, it will show players benched in the in game menu who are on-field
Just dont offer them a contract they automatically get delisted or automatically retire.
Problem is if you have an uncontracted player you want to trade you have to offer them a contract first.
