Anyone able to tell me if Durham still has his mullet or is it finally gone ?

one thing i noticed with the quick kick at goal (Stick Direction).

lets say Im running direction wise northward.

once i press R1 my player keeps running the same direction even when my joystick has changed direction (Towards goal).

This is a missed opportunity to not having the goal hub be present to allow manual aim.

couple things i’ve noticed, bull dog logo is still the 100 years one that needs to change for this season, kangaroos 13 cabs logo is not on the front of the jumper when it’s supposed to be, and why don’t sydney have a white shorts option?

Interesting, I’m keen to see how they manage this. So will the Richo 99 get a massive nerf to justify the 100+ cards.

You’d want to see a massive difference in player speeds etc. Like I’d imagine a bronze 60 shouldn’t be able to cover the ground/chase down tackle etc.

Hopefully in the future, R,1 when pressed down, starts aiming (Which it is atm, and it maintains the player running in the direction before R1 was pressed), but with the goal hub appearing and an aiming arrow

Tapping Circle maintains the quick kick, but hopefully in the future if you HOLD down circle, it should start generating power for the kick. (Manual Aim and Manual Power generation)

That way, you can have circle by itself still being the timing system for kicking at goal, but with the combo of R1 + O, there is the manual aiming system.

Been using quick kick like 9/10 times, even though 9/10 shots at goal are missing, but man, it is fun and makes you play differently once you wrap your head around it.

Hopefully when the big GOATs arrive (you know the ones) they get a little bit of extra sauce.

Yeah from what I saw, the new quick shot works well but is hard to get perfect. Point Blank kicks will be much better (no more missing from the goal square or being tackled charging the meter up), but from further out it’s tough.
Also, I wonder how the difficulty, and player attributes factor into it. Maybe more of a spray for less talented players?

Which, then if there was an arrow/HUD, it’d probably need to show the spray possibility… dunno….or maybe just spray the kick anyway (which could leave us confused why it didn’t go straight).

While I’d like an arrow to see which direction I’m facing, I also don’t think EAFC has one, does it? It’s down to the feel of the controller.

Without it, and knowing the difficulty and spray potential, my goal at the 17min mark of my stream felt bloody good!

up close works really well, especially with the quick tap of Circle

Further out, we would still love it to be able to generate power manually. (Hold circle with R1)

With the goal hub now being able to be resized bigger, only logical to use it as a means to aim along with an arrow, which games like EAFC have (The Arrow)

Stats of players should play a part in how likely they are to spray, and also as when you press and hold R1 is maintains the direction your player was running at and the adjustment you make while aiming at the goal (the angle) should play a part in spray likelihood and affect power.

So you really have to pay attention to the direction your player is running before using R1 to start the manual aiming system.

well that is at least my suggestion.

Like BA has in some way already allow a the path to it, with the option for stick direction aim.

Just need to add the hub + a aiming arrow (Which is visual as aiming does actually exist in the current system)+ manual power generation (Hopefully that is an easy addition.

so yeah add in a few visual hubs to the exisiting system and i think using R1 + O could become the norm, well especially for me.

one more thing I’ve used is R1 + circle as is a quick way to bomb the ball forward. but with added aim and i treat it as a heavy punt kick (High and powerful) whereas X is controlled and ball is lower

is there cards above 99 this year or is that a concept idea someone’s made ?
