A good thing for career mode world be having the different commentators for each day. And maybe adding like a channel 7 broadcast and different scoreboards. It would be cool also if we can have little pre game outros for teams that come out of the rooms.

It’s interesting how popular this seems to have been, there’s probably a lot of things they could do similar to this. I saw someone suggest a Dan Does Footy version of it on Twitter

Noticing the AI beginning to handball from the turf. That’s got to be new, surely. Would be cool if that was officially added to the game as a disposal option for everyone.
One thing that’s definitely new, closing the HTB exploit where you tackle twice. It works, kind of, but it does make you think twice before tackling because the game can get pretty stoppage heavy. The change will probably be a net positive if the AI gets rid of the ball more often when tackled. I mean, we have to do it, why not the AI?
Also had the coin toss guy appear back on the field, lol. Unfortunately there was no collision detection when he did. Must have dropped his coin.

It’s just a glitch, I had it before. They’ll fix it. I had it at the opening bounce then disappeared.
Folks
Can anyone tell me how collections and duplicate cards work? If I have a duplicate card and then add it to a collection, both cards are no longer avaialble. What am I missing? thanks

I was playing the Freo/Carlton ANZAC Match (since Freo have our own ANZAC weekend game) and I noticed that the commentators when the teams ran out said “Welcome to the MCG for the ANZAC Day Blockbuster between Collingwood and Essendon”
Clinically depressed, the last few days have been mad and I ended the season with three FO’s an hour of game time away (Sidebottom, Riewoldt and Dunstall).
If we’re going to get a ‘kick 800 goals’ objective this season, hopefully it gets pushed sooner than later. It kind of forces you to play on easy all the time.

AFL doesn’t seem to get as many updates as the cricket and rugby games Do which sucks

hey i think there might be a slight glitch with the western bulldogs retro guernsey becasue i started a new season of season mode and then got into the round 1 match of gws vs bulldogs and found this in game and everywhere

There’s always little updates that seem to go in without announcement.
I’ve noticed a few things recently (not sure when they were added) like:-
- High Score saved for Arc Master/Arc Master Legends
- Matty Lloyd’s goal kicking style is now the grass-in-the-air one
- Grand Final names displayed for Cup bearers, Norm Smith medal, Joch McHale medal.
- Grand Final Cup presentation by the club legend (cup bearer) of the winning club.
- Grand Final winners song with the Cup in the middle
