What difficulty are you playing on?
I know it moves at different speeds on different difficulties. Haven’t checked since the update though.

- it also changes speed based on the position allocated to the player in my experience. Have had some shots with ‘backmen’ where I’ve had the same experience of it moving at light speed

Is there a big difference in this update?
I know there is a point limit in importing svgs to make it shareable for everyone else but it’s kind of annoying sometimes.
Love this idea but genuinely would love it just to have them in game all the time. You don’t see 2k not allowing you to use Michael Jordan unless you have the card. I’ve made all AFL grand final teams for the last 10 years & if I had all players unlocked I’d be able to add them to the lineup and have pretty accurate player models as a lot of them have been face scanned into them game

I sorta like needing to unlock them in some way.
Something to play for… although maybe it doesn’t have to be ProTeam. Could be like rewards for winning the Premiership or something…
Anyway, I went through it tonight.
Legends (and past players) show up as Free Agents in the Player Manager.
You can add them to team lists through Club Manager… either to existing AFL teams (to play in an AFL Season or Management Career) or to a Custom Team for Play Now or a Custom Season.
Pretty cool having a super team available with all the old guys.

Don’t get me wrong it’s a brilliant idea. Especially to get more people to play Pro Team but I just don’t have the time to unlock/pack/buy every legend in the game & would love to have them all.

Haha yeah I hear ya.
I’ve been grinding for a while trying to get them all, but am still missing a few like Richo and Jono Brown.
But I’ve started to build out my legends team and am pretty happy with it.

So I just came across something weird. The AI had a shot after the siren for their first goal of the game and for some reason it counted as two goals? They went from 0 to 12
Hey everyone. I know I’ve mentioned this a few time about sliders etc. but please if you Guys have sliders to share that will be amazing. Im rlly desperate to have some fun in career mode and just beating teams by 80 every game doesn’t help so please send them out.

Had my first post patch session last night…it definitely feels like there are some tweaks. Incorrect disposal triggers less often which is a huge improvement to the flow and I could be imagining it but I think the ruck animation for tapping the ball has been tweaked.
To be honest I think incremental changes are happening all the time, but they are so small it’s up for debate. Maybe it’s just an animation you haven’t seen for a while or it’s something new, not always easy to tell.
For anyone reading, the goal kick animation has gone back to normal. If it keeps returning I’ll post a recording.
In academy/club manager mode when you add a player too the team you want too play as how come that player is still on the other team is there a way too fix this?
You need to remove them from the other team’s list if you don’t want them there.
This makes sense when there’s other teams available that a player can also play for.
i.e State of Origin teams, or even AFL listed players who mostly play in the VFL…. Plus any custom made up teams people want to make.
And how do i do that? by the way im playing the game on ps5
The same way you add them to a team.
Go to Club Manager, find the club, Mange List, then find the player… and I think you press Triangle to then get the option to ‘Remove Player’ so they’re taken off the list for that club.
Thats only when you make a copy of the team i dont want too do that
