Finally got a chance to play the game for the first time today and all I can say is ….
This game is phenomenal !
It’s probably the first time I’ve played an AFL game where nothing about it has felt clunky, everything just feels ‘right’.
Player Career:
I’m absolutely loving player career, I was worried it was gonna be like Evo 2s player career mode where playing as anything other than a midfielder wasn’t really worth your time, but I’ve been playing as a small forward and I’ve been having a great time.
The two big things that are missing for me in player career are:
- A behind the back camera that follows your player but is always pointed in the direction of the ball. (Sounds like this could be in the works so that’s good to hear)
- A stats bar under your players name in the hud that keeps track of your players statistics for the game, considering the game already records your stats surely this couldn’t be too difficult to add ?

Yeah this is killing me at the moment, I feel like I can’t get my player to move with any consistency which is making it basically impossible for me to get open for a mark!
Some bugs that still need fixing
- 4m kicks being paid a mark
- Played on easy level and cpu couldn’t do a thing wrong and is super fast.
- opposition players running over the mark, no 50m penalty
- The wind direction image on the field at marvel stadium showing it’s blowing a Gail with the roof closed.
- used the right stick to spoil and took a mark. Used the marking button to try take a mark, can’t mark. Marking is a lost form at the moment.
- my teammate ran away from the ball.
Not criticizing, just providing some information on what I have picked up in the last game play.

The game actually flows really well compared to most AFL games ever made. Aside from the bugs and crashing
I do however feel sorry for the children who beg their parents to spend their money on this game. It’s just not finished. Doesn’t bother people like me I’ll play it when it is

Imagine the ability in player career to run to the bench when your player is tired. Just a thought @JNT_BA

There’s an almost blooper when Daniel Harford flubs a line, stops and then starts the line again.

At the end of a quarter Daniel Harford actually gave a pretty decent breakdown of what was happening in the game and Huddo just goes “thanks captain obvious”.

What’s being included in the Xbox patch on Monday? Can’t wait to get into it, just want to go in knowing what needed fixing is done 
it happens in manager mode too with all players.
Ok , I bought PS5 version plus downloaded ~20gb update, however after reading some comments I have not booted up a game yet as I dont think continually crashing a PS5 could be good for it.
What are the main issues that are occurring consistently across users if I was to just play a single (quick) match or does it mainly affect pro and management modes?
How do I stop fatigue in my players in management mode because it just ruins the game how they are all gassed after 6 rounds

Would love to be able to check match objectives during play (option on purse menu) and also if you got a bit of a game plan from the coach in my career. Like these are the tactics the team is playing, this is your role or tag this player ect

I know this isn’t a game breaking thing but the generically bald players is this being worked on so they’re not bald? 
just kinda makes it weird to look at especially on the women’s teams

The system doesmt crash just the game. All it does is take you back to home screen.
