Worked hard to get back to help the defence only for AI teammate to trip the opp and give away a free…

Watching the replays it is pretty smooth, although I did see a bit of teleportation from the ai into a marking contest, hopefully all that rubbish gets patched out eventually

Still can’t take contested marks in single player mode. AI always slide in front at the contest. No idea how this isn’t a priority when it’s meant to be the main game mode and it’s making single player beyond frustrating to persist with

Agreed mate. When i call for the ball and i lead so good my player just walked as if no one is behind me but the defender out run me to the mark and its so frustrating

Play around with the sliders a little bit, make it that little bit easier to mark and then work your way up with timing.

Wait do we really need internet to actually play afl 26??? Cause my internet went down and i cant play any offline mode. I was playing player career mode and i won but than it went to main menu and i wont be able to sign than when my internet went back on and i have to play the match again…

Only played VFL so far will update when i have played others but @JNT_BA did say last night that all bald players would be fixed

Is there an online tutorial or manual for Pro Team?

The 2 differently coins/points currency and how they work and buying/selling players. I thought you would be able to accrue cash to buy players but it seems that only comes from selling players.

Also the different game modes, playing with your pro team which mode is the comp against other online players?

Enjoying the game even with limited time playing on xbox series x. I know there are more immediate higher priorities being worked on, just some early observations that could be interesting to know if possible with later improvements:

  • understanding the complication implementing day night cycle simulation, but what about more dynamic weather. Even if this were quarter by quarter where there could be minor shifts in the wind direction and speed. Similarly could this be done with rainy weather where some quarters for instance the rain sets in more or it clears up.
  • adding to this as previously mentioned, the slight impacts to ball physics, player movement and gameplay with the really poor conditions. So a wet soggy contest where attributes of marking, kicking accuracy, kicking distance, tackling effectiveness etc are impacted. I don’t think this would need to be a great adjustment, even as a slider option where all relative attributes are reduced by a small percentage.
  • in general gameplay there seems to be a lot of kick mark type play, especially with ai. Adjusting this to be more open where kicks are out in space or infront/behind making contest which could give more run and carry with the player having space and time to assess the next handball.
  • another observation mentioned in another post is the kick for goal under pressure that seemingly ends mostly in goals. Perhaps some adjustment to the accuracy of these kicks while the player is being tackled (higher chance for a poor kick power and accuracy) and even when under pressure surrounding by opposition with a quick kick or handball where it has slightly less impact on accuracy. Noting that players with higher attributes and ratings in these areas are less affected by this. This could avoid those spillage goals by ai opposition anywhere really in the 50.

I know these aren’t priority but more thoughts for others observations and positive discussion

Any advice on marking? Find it a real struggle with the new system. Do you have to jostle first before the mark or is it more a timing thing with getting it into the dotted circle? Everything else is fine.

Are my posts asking about ANZAC and Indigenous guernseys being deleted or hidden or something? Not one person ever has acknowledged or replied to them at all, not even a snarky remark like “focus on gameplay then that”. I just simply want to know if they will be coming, I don’t need an ETA, I just want to know if at some point the 2025 ANZAC and Indigenous guernseys will be coming, or at least that there are plans to add them. I understand the licensing for indigenous guernseys can be a pain to work around cos of the third party designers, but I don’t wanna know if they are getting approved or not, just that if there are plans to add them.

Dotted circle when it closes then click it, I’m not even sure if you can jostle (X) on Xbox then mark because I’m pretty sure once you jostle there’s a cool down to mark so whatever your overall defender/forward is better than the forward/defender of the opposition you just need to time the (mark).
