Contracts equal the amount of games your players can play.
Most players you earn have a number of ‘contracts’ assigned to them. And every game you play with that card, will remove one of those contracts.
So then you will need to get contract cards which you can apply to those players to keep them playing for longer.
Considering that, once you have a nice base of players under your belt, I recommend looking at creating multiple lineups and using them wisely.
For example, don’t use all your “A Graders” to play the lower ranked ladder leader games as you will smash teams and give up one of their contracts for no real benefit.
So should you sell contracts? I would suggest not. But I would also suggest to manage your team wisely to get maximum benefit out of them.
From what I understand, these are your ‘core’ players who would normally be based on your favourite AFL team. They are not of a high overall rating, but they are in your side forever and a day.
Also good ones to use to avoid sacrificing your contracted players number of games.
I’m almost done with thie game.
SIX times now, I’ve completed a Coaches Battle match on Pro Team and everytime between the game finishing and going back to the Menu it freezes, then the Xbox says the same response is off and restarted the game.
Started management career today, really enjoying it. Anyone been able to take speckys or deliver bumps/shepards yet? Finding it very difficult. I’m probably just bad lol, but if it’s hard to do I’m all for it because speckys were way too overpowered in 23
Up to you, when the support team get them, it means they are logged with the team in a very targeted manner to the right people, whereas here I pass on what I can, but sometimes I certainly do miss.
Ok, not a deal breaker, but I remember this happening in 23 and the update went in to rectify it.
The scoreboard ticks over with the score before the goal umpire signals it. Just thought it might be worthwhile passing on to the team to add to the pile of all the work they are doing
I’ll drop a ticket as well just to put it on the radar.
No, there’s ‘offline’ mode as well where you play v the ai. You don’t have to spend money if you don’t want to, there’s plenty of ways to grind away and earn points to buy packs and win rewards for packs too.
Anyone else find that the AI gets away with every thing (specifically 5 metre kicks being called marks), also finding very difficult to get htb or incorrect disposal against ai on medium.
Also I swear when I get a big lead the ai will win every contest and have everything go their way until they gain the lead lol
Not sure if it was just one of those games where you notice some things that you may not have before but have there been new animations added @JNT_BA ?
I noticed when I put my hands up from a tackle my player almost immediately dropped or threw it and was pinged for incorrect disposal. Haven’t seen this before. Also noticed there was a tackle and Draper randomly tripped over the contest and rolled over which I also haven’t seen before
There also seemed to be less free kicks and more ball ups in general play than usual.
Not sure if this is all just a coincidence but it made for a fun experience nevertheless
