Victorian Country Leagues Project ā AFL 26 Academy Edition
This is grassroots footy, rebuilt and reimagined.
The Victorian Country Leagues Project in AFL 26 Academy brings together 20 of Victoriaās most iconic regional competitions. Each league is crafted to reflect its real-life counterpart, filled with real playersāboth current and retiredā who rose through these local systems. From the fertile talent pool of the Goulburn Valley to the windswept grounds of the Gippsland coast, this project is a digital tribute to the leagues that shaped champions and bred lifelong rivalries.
Here, community pride meets footy tradition. Whether youāre rebuilding history or creating new dynasties, this is where Victorian football lives on.

A 49gb update, I donāt know if I should be concerned or happy.
Thereās the GFL & then thereās the GDFL, Banno, inverleigh, Belmont, etc
Why were the Brownlow votes taken out of season mode @JNT_BA ? They were in there yesterday.
Thatās what I was thinking
it wasnāt that badā¦
Finally we had a realistic Brownlow count dominated by mids. With no ruckman anywhere near the top
So are you actually intending on making clubs or just frankenstein league teams?
I have already posted 3 teams into academy
Not doing clubs, just players that are from that region/league
Iām on PS5
So are you doing players from the outer East Gippsland comp or west Gippsland league players or just the logos Iām confused
Players only, if the league logos get posted in academy, the I will update teams. I canāt create the league logos as Iām on PS5
Are you getting the players name from each league off playhq a footy live score site for Vic football?
Manager mode is not working
Iām doing AFL players so then I donāt create like more than 300 playerās. Using draftguru, AFL Player Profiles
So I was right. Frankenstein stuff, not actual bush footy. ![]()
Has the ācareer stabilityā update dropped on either console yet? It has on Steam.
Iām sorry Iām not doing actual clubs, Iām not that skilled and Iām on ps5
Absolutely need centre bounce tactics. AFL 99 on PC did it well. After the previous goal youād have 3 or 4 centre square formations to choose from while waiting for the bounce. Would work great as a Madden style play selection while the goal replays are showing.
simulating while on the bench still makes stats go mental, before i was on the bench i had 25 disposals, come back on and somehow had 50 lmao
