Game crashes when “awaiting sign in” on startup screen

I can’t get past the startup screen on PS5 as it just says “we have encountered an error please try again later”. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Same happening for me too. Did you get a solution?

Facing the same error for an hour. The game worked fine in the afternoon. I’m guessing it’s a server issue from their end. Don’t know if we can do much to fix it.

Same problem with xbox series x. This obviously need a patch to solve this error

I can login now but all of my progress seems to have been deleted. Is anyone else facing the same issue?
