I’m debating whether to buy RL26, I love my rugby but the absolute chaos on social media is really putting me off buying it lol.

Well … Some of it is warranted, especially if you are expecting a fully finished game. For me, I am having heaps of fun in the actual gameplay part of it. But I love league almost as much as union so … I would hate to recommend it to someone and them just be super disappointed 
But I find you can play fluidly enough and with much more freedom than you can in R25 already. Needs tweaking sure. But I am enjoying it and that is truth.
I do think some of the guys in the league forum are blowing things a bit out of proportion though … I mean man … If they had been part of rugby 25 
they would die ha ha. But in regards to modes and depth and things missing there is still a lot that isn’t in there I think. Those bits are annoyingSo depends on what you are looking for?
You have been apart of R25 so you will probably be ok. But only spend it if you wont regret it now and wish you still had the money in your pocket while waiting for some further patching

@JNT_BA just a question since the update is friday when can we expect hotfixes if needed only by monday?

I would laugh for days, please please please have Kelvin as a touchie with an A on his flag. Would pee my pants. man I am hoping for a succulent Union patch. I think I aggravate everyone in the league forum because I don’t mind the game to be honest ha ha.
So it would be nice to have a reason to come in here and celebrate some progress

Im the opposite.
Rll26 being a reskin of rll4 suggests to me theyre incapable of making meaningful changes to an existing gameplay mechanics.

I dont feel like it’s a reskin though tbh. Mostly maybe because the new camera I play in makes it feel a bit different. Love that broadcast is in there. New teams, new comps, Pro Team (Whenever it works lol) etc. All good stuff.
I also think though, the mechanics are good for league imo. I don’t see why you would change just for changing sake? They don’t reinvent the wheel every 2 years lol. But I get what you mean, people were expecting to see total differences in the games. I never really thought that would have been the case so … I don’t mind.
At least you don’t need a refund for this one!
I also hope you are wrong for Rugby 25’s sake. Because this game really does need total change.

I admittedly havent had hands on with 26, it looks exactly like rll4 in all the gameplay ive seen with some added BA panthousery thrown in.
Agreed on the camera angles, love a great broadcast view.
I didnt expect a totally new game as its a nacon product the greatest cost in game development is man power, so their strategy is clearly secure every license possible to reel customers in and deny any competitors access then release a woefully underdeveloped product.
Go back and look at cricket 14, 17, and ashes cricket 18 All released prior to Nacon getting their grubby mitts on bigant. All had limited or no licenses, focused heavily on gameplay and customisation, and were better for it. Theres a negative aspect to it too admittedly, not all changes are an improvement, i vastly prefereed rll3 to 4 for example.
I often wonder if BA regret selling out to Nacon. Theyre a poorer company for it (not in a financial sense obviously)

Yeah I agree 100% about seemingly after Nacon took over they are forced to just pump out unfinished titles and try bring them up to speed later. Has worked for most of their titles but when they hit an obvious bump in the road with Rugby25 that has meant they have never got there with that one 
I am really enjoying this game though icl. Like no glaze, I am having really good games and my runners mostly do exactly what I want them too etc.
Lame floaty passes … yes, some bugs, yes. But I think this will be another TieBreak or AFL23 and not the disasterclass Rugby25 has been. I am talking only about the gameplay I enjoy atm. All the modes etc seem broken or empty lol. But coach career is going along good for me and there is additional depth to that then RLL4. No copy paste there imo.

Damn, Coach Career Mode looks deeper in RL26 than in R25 (licensed excluded). We are doomed

Rumour is that tomorrow’s release will see rucks totally fixed*.
*I have started this rumour and it is totally not happening.

Impossible, in order to don’t make any logo in RL26, I bought the game on PS5 lol. I don’t know well League tbf.
