Managed to get the win with the special “matrix at christmas” colour scheme.
Might be the most challenging this game has ever been. I think you should implement it as an unlockabke feature, like old school PS2 games, for winning the world cup or something.
You may have to bulk up the legal department though, because I think i might have retina damage from looking at a white screen for 10 minutes. Focusing on the small flecks of green. So may have a lawsuit for a game blinding its players 
Guess I’d better take out the side camera updates and use them as a bargaining chip.

Yeah I’m gonna need the team that worked on RL26 to come help fix Rugby 25. First time playing a rugby league game but that was actually very enjoyable to play. I like Rugby 25 for the most part but RL26 just feels more polished in comparison, like 95% of things just kinda work that little bit better. In a funny way playing RL26 gives me hope for Rugby25. Stoked for the update tomorrow and hopefully it’s the beginning of series of beautiful updates.
Thanks for the reply, appreciate you’re busy. I’m having a little trouble following the response. I wasn’t talking about the terminology, but more the distance of the standard kick in the game. It’s been pretty commonly reported by Mad Dragon and others as not being long enough to be like real Rugby for months now, but has seemed more noticeable in Side view.
I do accept and agree that the kicks (box and standard) are different for different uses, but didn’t actually bring that up. Maybe you’re referring to an earlier post I’ve made where I said that the Rugby League Standard kick seems to have more distance than the Rugby Union one?
In that case they do have a similar use. League it’s territorial, and in Union it’s territorial, for slightly different reasons. I’ve done some checking around online and various sources indicate that the typical distance of a Union general play kick tends to be slightly longer than the average Rugby League general play kick. This seems different in the two Big Ant games.
Consequently almost all games I’ve played of Rugby '25, with various users in local multiplayer and several others online feature very little kicking for territory.
As someone who picked up Rugby 25 and now has RL26, I’d just like to put my 2c in and give Big Ant a wrap for a couple of improvements in RL26 by also requesting a few things be ported between the 2 games.
Colour picker in RL26 jersey creator with the HSB/HSL is a better option in my opinion for R25 but would be improved with the copy/paste on LB/RB from R25. Would be good to unify these 2 games, along with porting the manufacturers and design templates between games as well for extra options.
Obviously, the option of picking licensed players as is able to be done in RL26 would be ideal for Rugby 25 but I understand there are licensing issues.
It would also be nice if some of the stadia in RL26 could be added to R25. Accor is a big one considering the Wallabies play many tests there and will be hosting the Lions 3rd test. Same with the likes of Leichhardt and North Sydney, for example, who host the occasional Super Rugby games.
A lot of the defensive options for multi-player tackles, controlled movement, etc. from RL26 would be a big improvement for R25 too, versus the Rugby Challenge esque shoot-and-dive tactics.
I can understand a lot of the negative feedback about both games but also think it’s important to be constructive and look at the whole picture - there’s definitely a lot between these 2 games that can be added to the other as improvements.

Hi @JNT_BA just asking if you can maybe take a look at the tmo situation where every tackle behind the try line is a no try even if the ball is grounded and clearly a try the Ref calls tmo and its no try … Thanks looking forward for todays update

I respect your opinion but brother the problem with RL26 isn’t that the game is bad, of course it’s fun to play because it’s literally RLL4 2.0 but that doesn’t mean that the game is good copy paste something with the same bugs as 8 years ago isn’t a good way to pull a good game, no new animations not a single new mechanics what do you expect from us to be happy with that? That’s why we can’t have a decent rugby game nowadays because some of the people feel good with mediocrity even when they know it’s bull crap we weren’t asking for a complete turn of gameplay but add something that made us feel that’s a new game, this is just a reskin a uptade of RLL4 and charging full price that’s a shame
We have the better game at the moment with Rugby 25, if only for the fact that you can’t play Rugby League 26.
All versions are down for some kind of maintenance I assume. Just over one day into this new game being out.

Fair enough, you are allowed to feel that way. I simply don’t see all the drama though.
Like ODD1X said in his latest video, from the outside it looks the same with the animations etc. when you play it though it just somehow feels different to the others. I agree and had said it early on in the forums.
Gameplay is really fun for me. I just don’t believe a game has to be totally different from any before it to be classed as new or worth it. There’s only so much you can change and with career and pro team etc there are changes.
For me the let down is in the missing broken and unfinished content and modes. But I’m playing the game non stop and enjoying it. Like the last two years … waiting for patches too
And that’s totally normal we have been bamboozled by this company but for me the most despicable thing is Ross attitude this guy was shouting out that rugby 25 and RL26 was ready and great games with great content addition and now that he’s facing the truth he’s blocking everyone that speaks facts about how trash everything is and he doesn’t even have the decency to post something to excuse himself for fooling us
