In this update, no. Will there be harsher penalties? Yes. Will high tackles be increasing… oh hell yes they will, I hate that I do it perfectly as code intends, and it’s like no. One of the guys is already looking at what I pulled apart to clean up that cause that’s a whole… thing. On my version, does AI high tackle now? Yes, does it work like I would want? No, nowhere near it.
Knock-ons are are little more complicated. I want to increase the amount of instances they can happy cause it is quite safe at the moment, but that risks them going out of control. Have I had any massive offside errors? Nope. Do I know they happen? Yes.
Well, I hope the team are still making some changes I would like to them. As well as having the option of what style players would like to use, so rather than removing the old system, it is up to players to decide what they want to use.
As a side note, not replacing them and having the option on how to choose is a massive thing on its own to make them modular. Getting the new one in took less time than unhooking the older code and allowing it to be used as an option. But modular means easier in the future.
@JNT_BA thanks for the explanation. Just so I fully understand are you saying that the bug where a penalty is given when a knock on occurs won’t have been fixed this week?

Also will there be any change to on the fly tactics this week to make them quicker to change?
I have come across numerous bugs that are pretty annoying main ones are
when playing 2 player local sometimes when someone kicks the ball into touch and the game thinks you have touched it when you haven’t so the person that kicked it gets the ball back .
sometimes kicking the ball instead of going down for the try when you are well within range.
conversion kicks sometimes bearly go a few meters when all done correctly.
scrums scrums scrums! it’s still not clear what you should be doing.
punt kicking is to slow the game would benefit from a slowdown while kicking instance like rugby challenge.
the general rules of rugby need to be enforced your getting scrums when you should be getting a penalty and vise versa.
when you receive a penalty the game needs to show you where on the field you are so you can make a more informed decision on what to do.
the Haka is needed for the All Blacks that one really upsets me as a kiwi haha.
there is a bug with the rucks where the ball is there but the player won’t pick it up no matter what you do so you get penalized for it.
Other than that the game is solid and has so much potential!
Hey look into ain’t saying this is going to be fast and I’m not going to say everyone will be happy with the result. I still have months of plans for what I want to change or update right here. As well as new content drops. Some take one person to do some take 20 people at different times. Some are purely internal, some need lots of approvals from external sources.
Offside after a kick have an issue - players in front of the kicker are not allowed to follow the ball ,more than this ,they have to show the intention of getting back in regulamentary position
Offside in open play - i get penalised with offside sometimes when my player is contesting the ruck (if the ruck is not formed ,there is no offside in open play)
Knock-ons - i get penalised when my player recive a forward pass ( thats a knock-on )
Held-up : is on 100% ration , TMO (the bunker) maybe can fix this

Yes it’s very annoying ! And the selection of the defensive player is always not the good one. defending near the try line is hard with the inaction of a lot of player instead of filling the gaps in the line.
Just played a game with 60 missed tackles. Can the palm offs be turned down a bit. Also my players are getting penalised for offside but they are getting what looks to be stuck walking past the ruck. I’ll try and get footage of it next time it happends.
