Agreed, we deserve a properly-functioning game nearly six months after launch! We shouldn’t have to stick it back in its box and wait another three weeks.

@Shawntahs while I agree that we should have had a better game at launch it’s clear that JNT has taken over a game that is in a very poor state and is likely having to rework/redo a lot of the elements that have just never worked. This isn’t going to changed in a day or two, it’s just not how game development/coding works. We know from the future of rugby 25 thread that rucks are being worked on and hopefully there’ll be an update on the progress of that soon
If you are having real problem with rucks I’d suggest dropping down the difficulty for the moment. I’ve dropped down to medium and getting plenty of turnovers and can kick the ball which seems to be an issue on hardest still.

Gday, picked up the game yesterday on the ps5 and installed all the patches, even the new one released today.
Couple of things i need help with…
Ruck steal… i hit the square button in game and in the tutorial and it doesnt work. Am i missing something? i basically cant do it so never can win the ball back.
Play a super rugby team… i tried to select the Reds and play a season, but when i go to choose a team none of the super rugby teams display… looks like teams from a sth american league. And if i select one the game errors and closes the game. Anyone else get this?
And finally, trying to install a British and Irish lions team from the community. All goes well logos and players downloafinh u til suddenly i get a pop up saying the academy is not available try later so the team doesnt display so i can use it, but i can see players in the downloaded players list.
Any help would be great and appreciated.

I have a request which I don’t think has come up before, hopefully it could be implemented. Would it be possible to have a wider selection of template players when creating players for custom teams? I am rubbish at editing faces so this would make it much easier. And it would be good to not have any accessories equipped as default as I usually have to find the setting to remove finger tape for example.

I don’t know, I haven’t been able to play it yet. PC users have the same issue. Stuck on a forever loading screen lol.
For a split second got to see a daily reward pack, but when I opened it … straight back to the eternal loading screen so I didn’t even get to collect it I think .
It has major bugs and was broken for days … I was shocked

Please can a consistent way of being yellow carded / sin binned be added to the game? Going for the “Sin to Win” trophy and it feels impossible. I just had a match where I gave away over 50 offside penalties and still no card.
Could an automatic yellow card after x amount of offsides (say 4 or 5) please be patched in?

Maybe a fast hotfix for knock-ons resulting a penalty and 100% held-up ratio ! @JNT_BA just rename “the bunker” with TMO and give it green for rugby25 ,please!

Been playing my own test series tour of the lions to South Africa and I’ve had great fun.
Just playing the second test v SA and was a good game but has crashed TWO TIMES.
The games been out for so long and has weekly ‘improved stability’ yet it still crashes.
Don’t matter if the gameplay improves cus the games just gonna crash
Iv just deleted r25 from my ps5. I cant play it anymore its too poor quality and i cant see any improvements coming in the future that will fix how broken and lifeless this game is. I cant play more that one game everytime i play it. No life or atmosphere followed along by terrible gameplay and glitchs and also unable to actually play a game of rugby with rules etc. Iv waited months in hope and have been given so many excuses by ba. But enough is enough. This game was marketed to be the best rugby game ever when in fact 6 months since release iv come to conclusion its the worst rugby game i have played. I have been playing rugby games since early 2000s so thats alot of games. Someday i hope we get a good rugby game but for now r25 has been a huge step backwards and has left me wondering will we ever get a decent rugby game again.

@JNT_BA Got the game today, having lived off Rugby 22 for months. I will say, of course its not perfect, but Im really impress with the level of Customisation and also I love the amount of licenses. And, at times, the gameplay is fun. All U would want for the next few weeks until the major update is just to add the replays back and also fix the knock on advantage to penalty glitch. But overall keep up the good work this game has potential
