Itâs about time we had names for the players in the match engine rather than positions?
I think thereâs only a couple of leagues that do have their names, one being the Gallagher Premiership.
It would make following the games so much more enjoyable knowing who has possession of the ball.
At least do it for the major leagues such as URC, Top 14, Pro D2 and International teams.
Itâs not so great seeing âLockâ on the ball or âFly Halfâ or âScrum Halfâ. When it could easily be player names.
I expect my suggestion will fall on deaf ears. Iâve been asking whether or not the Devs will sort this out fo a while now.

Oh man, I launched R25 on PS5, it seems even more buggy compared to the PC version.
This game is miles away from being at the level of fun of RL26.

Picked up the game for the first time since April just now, fully updated to most recent patch. Feels better in some aspects (more refined rucks by comparison, new refs, AI actually kicks the ball).
Honestly doesnât feel like itâs moved on much though to be honest. Forwards still taking kicks to restart, AI doesnât sub, all players and teams feel the same, player names on the UI are inconsistent, laws barely applied. Will try again in November, maybe.
At this moment I am just having the time of my life on Rugby 08 updated TRF, way more exciting than Rugby25, we choose Gameplay over Licenses

Does anyone know how to stop you ai defense of being offside they are always glitching out, miles offside and even thought they seem to be trying to get onside the just stand there and jutter and I concede countless penalties. Ive never once seen the AI concede a penalty
