Yeah that part is still being worked on. It can happen but it has to play out perfectly for the game to allow it. When the players were initiating it was having some knock on effects so we lowered the window for them happening while we work on clearing up the timing.

Is WRWC in this update, or when can we expect that?

Also, how much longer until you get approval on advertising in more stadiums?

I don’t think so. I have played 3 games and have just had scrums spinning like Beyblade’s and constant penalties :melting_face:

Nothing yet I saw the video and so far by what they could see it may have been registering late as it is a hard cut off time now but they’re still looking at it.

Don’t recall the exact names, not my team, but a few in URC were quite wrong. Not sure why they weren’t caught earlier.

Hundreds more have been done that will go out in the future across many leagues. Some changes you may notice straight away some are small changes some are some stat updates.

@JNT_BA how does it work with players that you’ve made changes to vs ones we’ve made changes to? If I update stats for a player and then you guys change that player in the database will my player be automatically overwritten or will I need to revert the player I edited back to default? Cheers

@JNT_BA can we please get an update on the wrwc. It ended almost a month ago and it’s no in the game yet.

I can confirm what JNT says here, had two mauls from kick offs in my second match today. It’s actually good that the frequency has been toned down a little, some of the AI mauls after kick offs looked extremely forced before. After two matches, I’d say this is the best the game has been, well done fellas, please keep it up and push Rugby 25 over the line!

Please @JNT_BA fix ā€œHold upā€.
I’m sick of it… played a match and 5 legitimate tries where called ā€œhold upā€ just cause they where tackled…

So, i don’t know how the structure works on code side but, please make it that every time time a ball carrier is tackled on opposite goal area end up in a try, unless hold up animation has been ā€œcalledā€. If too complicate i prefer that every time is a try.

but its flying over in the top left, i would of liked kicking to have been fixed by now but no every update there seems to be another thing wrong with goal kicking, always seems to be a problem with when you flick up the ball doesnt always go straight, ball could be at low power where should be more accurate and still does the same thing.

Hi I am struggling with stealing ball in Ruck. Does anyone have any techniques they use

I think there is no stealing in the game lol.You can only counter ruck and it is totally random as far as I know. Great game

It’s not random, it’s actually one of the better things that they have managed to work fairly well. i find the key is timing when to send 3 - 5 in or just having 1 seeing if they can get a quick steal. It doesn’t work everytime, but i can usually make between 2 - 5 steals a game with 5 minute halves on Hardest.

On another note i am still getting random offsides when im in possession.

Also, hoping the difficulty / ruthlessness of the Ai can be ramped up by like 50%

Nope, there is actually stealing in rucks.
Is the Jackal action that can be perfomed by pressing X/ā–”. Is a bit buggy but it works.

I might be playing a different game lol. I swear I never could steal a ball, even when there is no opposite players on the ruck

Yeah mate I actually try not to press the square button too much on PS5 . I can steal and counter ruck often. We actually need the Referee to Penalise sometimes for hands in the ruck. Currently on PS5 even on hardest difficulty it’s too easy to steal or counter ruck

Yes isn’t perfect but it is there.
Is heavily stat base, so if you have players with a good jackal stats will be easier.
In order to do it you have to:

  1. Add a player in ruck
  2. press and hold (don"t really know if it is better to hold or press it a few times)
    (Also there is a bug where if the player selected is not the one in the ruck, the one selected plays the jackal animation… not knowing if that prevents the jackal i always try to select the player in the ruck)

Even if you do everything good doesn’t guarantee a stealing. There’s a good number of stats involved so you have to slowing learn when and where is easier to steal. To be fair this part is well done! Is easier to jackal if your tackle is ā€œadvancingā€ so supports for the Offensive side will be late.
