So I’ve played 3 games, 1 on medium and 2 on hard and the number of missed tackles on medium was mad! Are the difficulties right? I found hard much easier than medium
This problem has been pointed out for months. It’s indeed very annoying, like the selection of the nearest defender, etc…
I would say, the 2 games I had on hard were a lot of fun. Tactical variety would be nice, but good fun

The sooner people accept this, the sooner they can stop demanding update news when they have been repeatedly told an update is being worked on but theres no ETA
So a small bit of extra info I can give is the next update will also include the ruck overhaul.
Still some things I would like some timing changes on as there are a few things that happen so fast your reaction time has to be .3 seconds which while fun to try to hit the opening, will cause a lot of pain points when it comes to online.
Rucks will also come along with its own set of sliders as well to tune. But when it drops I suggest playing around with it before modifying the specific ruck sliders.
Cool can’t wait to see how it feels, are you expecting patch this week or is it more likely 2/3 weeks away?
I was hoping by the end of the month. But I’m not 100% sure I’ll meet my target date. Still more work being done to sliders to make sure they are meaningful and actually make a valid impact. No point in giving a slider that has a 1% change that we can see in data but not in gameplay.
As well as some other ones like running speed. The faster the slider was set means your turning circle was like 2 degrees.

@JNT_BA thanks for the update on some of the things we can expect to see. Looking forward to the ruck revamp. Was something I fed back on quite a bit so interested to see what bits were possible to implement. Anything planned around player positioning. Apart from the obvious bug that players were standing off the field this was the best I’ve seen positioning in a while. The 10 is in a first receiver position (maybe a bit too behind the ruck), the right wing is the widest player, 12/13 are between them and finally two forwards are positioned as ball carriers ahead of the backline. Looks so much more organised. Hoping it wasn’t just a random bug and something that was being tested. Cheers

The most noticeable bad decision tha ai tooks is playing the ball on their 15 meters and below, actually they only kick the ball around their 22s but never below theyr 22s…
This make easier to build pressure, and with time stealing and scoring a try…
Ai needs to be aware when and where they have to kick the ball.
They also never kick out the ball… unless is over time
Are they still performing those crazy cross kicks in their own half?

Hi @JNT_BA there is a reoccurring issue with online i would hope to be fixed in next patch, no matter what button you press it chooses a 7 man lineout it has been happening past few days now, i can get a recording and send for proof if needed

Yeah, it feels like someone has coded the AI cross field kick logic to be an option within 10m of own try line, instead of opponents try line - have a feeling there was another change mentioned on here several months back where the same “inverted field position” number parameter was used.
Nice, Jnt_BA, would be nice that when the ruck overhaul drops, we can get some instructions on what the intended features or system is, so we know how to play them correctly, I think ruck turnovers happen for the most part at the correct time, it just the isolated jackal did not work and rucking penalties were missing and sometimes the animations were opposite, pushover vs quick grab. To be able to feel complete rucking infringements should be added, holding the ball, hands in the ruck, coming in from the side, crocodile roll
you get the idea.
