One step forward on step back..some new animations.
Still game glitch when playing career mode,play standing all over couldnât do nothing.
Quick throw still is broken.
Backline positioning from lineout passes still looks like a mess there must be a setup.
For example you choose 3 players in line-out, 5 forwards should make a pod in midfield depends on setplay or structure of teams,especially when on your own goal line.
5 player line-out,3 players in pod setup in midfield.
7 player line-out,zero forwards in backline and that should be clean ball and flow to the backline instead of forwards or players getting in the way when receive a pass from top off line-out.
Players standing still when receive passes which is destroying the flow.
Target passes is broken players donât catch the ball,well i know knock-ons should be part of the game,but target prompts change to quickly.
Still donât understand the bump-off,when do a bump off,the gauge of players gets more thicker which i donât understand what should happend there really struggling to get a bump of and get a realistic bump off animations,mostly player tackle lower on of the waists of attackers and attackers charging with leading forearm into shoulders.
AI again its pain when the get penalties and only taking scrums.
The received a free kick on the 10m line from lineout,they decide to kick to ball in goal line area,which there should be focused on AI decision making.Chip kicks,grubber,up and under kicks,50/22 kick tactical instead of just passing the whole time.
AI hold on to much on the ball user players must recieve penalty for holding on
Another pain is forwards cannot outrun backline players,sometimes flanker with pace has the ability to run maybe 40 metres or 30m before backline players tackle them infront of goal line or over the line,yes someone also said forward player must easily gain meters when attacking on backline players and should not easily get tackled by backline player maybe a good animations where player can lower on ankle tackles.
Again the crowd is dull no explosiveness in atmosphere.When get bump/or big hit there must be âOohhâ from the crowd or even the commentary please Big Ants they are bored.
There is alot we can talk off firstly fixed the major problems of the game before making tweaks.

I still feel the Ai attacking behaviour/difficultyâs are also being influenced by bizarre stats in this game. Just looking at many players in licensed teams. The stats for many backline players are so slow with speed. In my opinion unrealistic to the real life players. Three examples below.
Tim Ryan - QLD Reds winger -
Billy Meakes - Centre - Rugby Los Angeles
Joey Walton - Centre - Waratahs
I just feel Rugby 25 has very standard generalised stats for many players across all competitions. They donât really look individual ? I think in the future great if we could edit the player stats if possible. I know I would personally be editing a lot of players for many teams,
Also , just to mention the appearance of Tim Anstee at Rugby Los Angeles - MLR. He looks really too skinny in the arms , almost like he looks sick. I would be happy to update this and make him look stronger as he does in real life if we could edit players appearances in the future. Thanks

Hope we can see some changes in AI difficulty and attacking gameplay strategies from AI
Passing has improved but still feels like there is a time delay from when you press button to pass and when pass actually happens
Could you please look at implementing a cut out or skip pass optionâŚmaybe when you hold the pass button a fraction longer it creates a skip pass
Support runners are still not positining themselves correctly when attacking and should drift with the ball carrier not run towards him
Please can you work on player sikills and attributes reflecting correctly in game
Forward and backs still almost same speed
Strength also not really reflecting differently between forwards and backs
Lets say i play with Kolbe who is one of best wingers in world rugbyâŚsurely i should be able to sidestep or dummy most opponents in a one on oneâŚthis is not reflecting in game
My point is a wing with a rating of 70 performs basically the same as one with a rating of 80 or 90 .
Player ratings and attributes need to have a significant impact on the gameplay
Please get support runners to run onto ball at pace and not stop when receiving pass
Please can we remove and add custom created players to teams in the normal game modes also
Seems like it is only possible in career mode?

At the moment it doesnât feel that the stats are really doing anything. I feel it should have a much bigger impact and actually mean something atm everyone plays the same. And it also feels like you have no time when performing kicks especially up and unders. The stepping also does not work at all if you manage to step someone you get tackled immediately. I would like lots of more step variations as well as being done smoother and quicker. The players in game also moves way too fast I would really love if you could make the collisions mean more and carries being added. Also feel like if there is a lack in physics for the players, they feel quite stiff
I know itâs been said before there wonât be
7âs and I certainly want the developers to get the current game as good as it can be. Itâ is definitely improving now with the latest patches.
Iâm just in the Uk at the schools nations 7âs tournament today
It strikes me that the target market for a game is young and active rugby players as well more established rugby fans. Today there are 25 rugby pitches with teams all across the
Uk both boys and girls and it strikes me as a way to market / appeal to thousands of players would be to have a 7âs feature and to promote the game or advertise at an event like this.
Normal rugby sponsors are here such as Howdens, Gilbert Opro etc. just seems a shame that a 7âs mode canât be added even if it was community focussed so schools could build there own teams / tournaments etc.
Just could be a fun way to engage young active rugby players.
Would be a nice bonus for the future.
Loving the progress in the game now with the updates and having genuine moments in the game where rugby is happening and it looks and feels great. Thanks for the continued hard work devs

1)Ai difficulty must be addressed, Ai should be
very difficult to beat on hardest.Can this

2)Support runners on attack should drift out
wide when you running with rhe ball,they still
drift towards ball carrier,ths has also been
asked numerous times!

If you do CPU vs CPU it most often times ends 0-0. Please address this
PC already live. Consoles later this afternoon (usually 2pm UK time). When the Rugby 25 socials post about a new patch, thatâs when all platforms have it.
what happend with texture of the grass as it was quite good looking in Early Access 6 Patch
Genuinely concerned. Really wish I knew what was going on at BigAnt. Communication has been almost non existent, game seems to be made with almost no passion whatsoever. For many this is hardly a video game, more so a demo where you play attack against a mindless opposition. Could you please list your plans for the game so that we as Rugby fans at least know what to expectâbecause currently weâre expecting a real sports video game & weâre not even close to getting it.

Anyone played and can tell us what changes theyâre seeing?
To be honest the last patch or two have been pretty small improvements and I think weâre well overdue for something significant covering a range of issues and complaints.
Hasnât really been a patch that has covered a broad range of things from the lack of field markings, AI difficulty, pocket player not moving forward when kicking, kicking actually functioning when you have a direction held at first, the 10 not being pulled into far too many rucks, academy improvements, a decent ruck ball winning system, five into rucks, focus on structure and forwards mostly into rucks, quick throws functioning more logically, improvements to a boring and very limited line-out system, improvements to AI not taking scrums all the time, a shortening of the scrum process, more variation in player ability based off skills, bump offs working and really it wouldnât be that hard to keep on going.
You would think with the community in agreement across the board with many issues, and the game feeling like itâs a mostly finished but partly not experience that communication would be a little more apparent.
After all most of the community are being very civil and polite, and of course thankful for the good things that have been implemented so far.
This is actually a hopeful update overall. AI plays much better on attack but their positioning is too deep. Passing and support runners in general still need refinement. Game also runs smoother, and seems to look sharper? Not a bad update like many say here. I was anticipating almost no improvement. This is hopeful.
This game is going nowhere fast.
