Think about this for a second. In the last game in layer career you started out as a teenager, worked your way through jersey fleg then if you didn’t have good enough year you’d get offers for lower grades or England. Not only that there were in depth statistics and great longevity.
None of that is here. It has been completely removed from the game. Which is what is so confusing to me.
They’ve taken RLL4 and removed 60% of the game and replaced it with a pro teams mode.
Now if this game was 1:1 RLL4 with every feature available in that decade old game, with the updated scans and pro teams? That would have been a good game.
It’s a conundrum and I’d pay to know this games development cycle.
It’s 2025 my friends and we cannot condone this sort of effort from a 200 man, two studio developer. When earlier this year we got Expedition 33 from 30 odd developers from France.

Exactly the fact they have removed so much is bs I actually want a refund the career mode is very disappointing I don’t know how this career mode is meant to be something we can play for hours I would like to do a career mode with stats and I have no idea why they removed all these details give us answers

I have downloaded it to my Xbox from the store then it asked for an update and I still can’t play it why is this
I get the feeling all platforms are running different versions as I’ve seen things on different videos that aren’t on the ps5 version such as player numbers or names above heads when you press the pass button to show the cut out options etc …..
Guys it’s only Day 1 of Early Access and you are so unpatient

Whether anyone likes it or not, the game isn’t finished, they have rushed it out and intend to likely try and finish it off and bring it up to speed like they have with every other title in their recent catalogue.
If you are not willing to ride that time out a refund may be a good idea. But if you don’t need that money urgently I would sit on the game and wait. It’ll have fixes and improvements for sure.
This is on the PC version. It isn’t on consoles??? How do these games end up so differently when they all come from the same dudes? lol

The game is obviously not in a finalised state and surely anyone at BigAnt that plays the versions we all have would agree (even if not out publicly haha) - nowhere near it and I am more than happy to wait it out for the fixes to come .
Yeh I played a few games today on the updated PS5 version but never seen the cut out pass info once . The fact it appears each platform has a different build is mind boggling to me !

Can we please fix career mode? Not only are there no stats for the competition- can you please change the rep games , the rep games are what makes a career mode fun aswell, the fact it all just gets skipped if you’re not coaching the rep side is a joke and makes career mode way less fun - an idea would be you play origin etc but you can only select the sides yourself if you’re given the role, not just taken out altogether

Not in reply to anyone on this thread cos I haven’t read anything but I’ve seen a lot of people posting TikTok’s, streaming their live matches etc complaining it’s not realistic but they’re literally playing the game like a spastic & chucking 3 skip balls left to right and then back to the left, I feel like if you want it to be more realistic you actually have to play the game more realistically too. Take hit ups & kick, literally don’t have to score every set lol. My random 2 cents

They’re hidden but they’re in the PC files, even though you can’t select them in game yet.
The career mode stats is really disappointing I don’t understand how such a simple thing has been taken out of the game these stats were on the ps2 but we can’t have them in 2025 what a joke

I agree big time with all the streamers & that, how they play. I, myself play very traditional (like how league should be) & it’s frustrating. Can never get any momentum with dummy half, halves on last are standing a bees away from the touch line. So many things wrong with this game.
To the bloke saying be patient, we shouldn’t have to be, they’ve promised this & that from day one by Ross & we haven’t seen a glimpse of it. People have paid hard earned money for what should be a finalized product, not instalments over months. You wouldn’t be happy with half your Uber Eats today then the rest 2 months down the track.

Same here just downloaded hoping to run it up but damn thing says error signing in.
Stupid I know but pausing the game after it happens and resuming seems to work
