All the rating seems like just default in what the player is like there is very little difference between same position same rating players. For example a guy like nanai should have high high ball catching but crap tackling but its just the same as other 85 rated backrowers

Other issues Iâve run into
1 - the change defender with stick (by holding R1 then angling your right joystick left or right to a defender) is bugged, alongside the L1 + R1 to change to fullback. It shows that your changed, but once you left go of either button it switches back to the closest defender to the ball.
2 - The passes using your buttons (like A,X,B,Y or X,Square, Triangle & Circle) sometimes goes to the wrong person. Iâve had instances where Iâd try pass to the closest player but then it gets passed back to the fullback?
3 - Kick on the full(s) donât go back to where it was kicked. Instead they just take it up on halfway instead. The punting in general is confusing especially since the circle itâs showing where itâs going to land but not how much power weâre putting into it, leading to it going out on the full or even poor short kicks. The contesting for bombs arenât bad, but thereâs no meter at all for grubber/drop goals.
4 - Scrum animation is abit too long.
5 - The defending team donât get back inside once contact is being made, they stand around until the player hits the ground. Once an offload is made and they make a break, itâs pretty hard catching the player since everyone else is still standing a few metres in front of where the initial tackle was made and also a few metres where theyâre meant to be, making them offside.

Hi, anyone know how to make a new league like in rll4? Iâve made a club but dont know how to add it to a league for career mode.

Definitely. I can understand that they canât make every player distinct in their abilities from each other, but youâd think that theyâd have a list of players who are absolute stand outs in certain ways.
EA did this with Rugby and there were players in many teams that had absolute standout abilities in certain areas. These âStarâ players really were amazing, whether it was in being able to kick the ball further, substantially more agile and better at side-stepping or able to fend through 2-3 players when their stamina was up.
Though itâs very hard to do this with entire teams. In Fifa for example, there doesnât seem to be that much ability difference between a 91 rated player and an 81 rated player in most instances. So having a few really amazing players in certain areas would be beneficial. At the moment no-one is special because everyone is.
The teams all feel pretty uniform outside of the varying speed of some players and even then thatâs not always that noticeable.
Currently I donât feel that attributes really mean as much as they should.

Bugger, has big ant not added the feature? Same as creating logos, I can only put them on my club, not the jersey. The game seems so rushed?
Legitimately the worst release to a game Iâve experienced. There is nothing even remotely new or exciting here. Theyâve taken an 8 year old game and only added a long list of game breaking and annoyingly obvious problems that are so far outside of Rugby League.
The annoying thing is the jumps in gameplay and quality from their previous league games were actually decent, though. I think back to the progression from RLL1 to RLL2 to 3 to 4; they were all different games that improved for the most part on the former.
This needs fixing asap.

Found game breaking bug - also happens on Rugby 25. Turn off WiFi, try to play game and wonât let you, even single player.
Was hoping to play on Steam Deck while traveling, but for some strange reason doesnât let you play single player without wifi. Requested refund. Surely this is a glitch?! Why do this?

Why canât I even start the game on a PS4? It attempts to âsign-inâ and then says âerror signing inâ before looping me back to Home Screen to pressâxâ to then unsuccessfully attempt to sign-in againâŚ

Lots of vestigial stuff in there as was in the previous games too - thereâs all the Rugby 25 referee voice clips in there too. Wonât be active in the game itself but the files are there for whatever reason.
Refunds/Compensation needs to be handed out ASAP. joke ting man
more than happy with a choice of 2 out of 4 emerald players and some free player -packs
another bug - Golden point online did not stop after a try or time limit. My opponent and I scored 5 tries between us in the first half of golden point. We continued to score after the clock had hit 0 in the first half and the game only ended when my opponent quit.
May be a better thread idea for confirmed things that do work?

its not that serious haha who cares if theres no music or dramatic sounds when opening packs. yes higher ranked players are an advantage compared to lower ranked players thats the whole point of emerald tier and higher cards ya numpty
