This was a launch bug for RLL4, so clearly using OG code unfortunately. Kinda glad I can’t play until tonight, not that there will be another patch today. Might just wait until the weekend.
I started a pro team. I got a duplicate sione finau in the starting team. He has now disappeared and I’m stuck on team selection screen with not enough players. Have tried uninstalling and deleting save files but doesn’t work. Anyone know what to do?
Played a few games and started out on Amateur. I’m finding the dummy halves take too long to get into position or even at times don’t realize for a couple of seconds that they should be there and then they run into position.
I’m finding targeted passing to be erratic, sometimes it works well, but I’ve had it pass the wrong way over the sideline. I double-checked which button I used and it was the correct direction. Sometimes if you choose targeted passing on the fly and then try and use it, it will just do a forward pass to no-one.
Bombs are VERY hard to keep short enough if you are inside the 20-15m out. They almost go too long immediately with little input push.
I tried out Rookie and when you make a break in Amateur it’s not just harder to capitalize on it, it’s MASSIVELY harder. You break the line and within 1 second you start getting converged on by multiple players who are often supposed to be slower than the player you’re using. I don’t mind it to an extent, but it’s like getting swarmed almost every time.
Off-loads are hard to effectively get away, the window is small or non-existent at times, and other times the ball just goes to ground. Weird because in Rugby '25 you can pull off so many off-loads and Fends that are the kind you see more of in League, but you can’t do them as easily in this game. The off-load range is small too.
On the last, the playmaker is often no-where useful, so please fix that. Also the AI playmakers are sometimes too easy to sack before they get the kick away.
The game on release however is in a MUCH, MUCH better state than Rugby '25 is now after dozens of patches. Lots of things done well, side-steps are better and goal kicking is marginally better (still too easy). Overall a much better base game than Rugby '25.
An interesting thing though. The League players can defend against off-loads and just generally like Union players should and the game is harder than Rugby '25 because of it.
I would really hope theres another update the players like dummy half runs away and the halfback standing anywhere on the 5th hope this gets fixed
Hold on let them get the first update on Xbox first waited 8 years just to have the game installed but not playable

Attention all Xbox players, the pro team version took ages to come out digitally, if you bought the normal version and wanted pro team version like I did, just request a refund saying u bought the wrong version as it took the ages to get it out, and buy the pro team version, and they will approve the refund

Yep same here an absolute joke, we should be compensated with free PC or what ever the in game credits are considering it was released and we can’t even play it on Xbox X

Can anyone help me out? Ive loaded into pro team and it has only given me 16 players, it wont let me do anything until i fill my squad but i dont have enough to fill the squad so i have to close the game everytime i open proteam
any footage or career or be a pro mode yet? that will be the make or break for me. RLL3 and 4 had such deep career modes and pro modes.
in player creator, no matter position, every single stat can have a max 94? firstly, why 94 and not 99, secondly, i can have a 94 speed prop? seems off. Also cant make interchanges at half time, and no full time stats? surely that is just an oversight. no possession, penalty or error count, or player specific stats.

I have an Xbox One, just got the game this morning, installed disc data, downloaded update, v1.0.0902,
but cannot get past the title screen when it asks to press A to continue it says there is a newer version of the game, please update and restart. There is no more updates I can see. should I unistall and restart the process
