Might be only one that wants this but I’d love to be able to place field markings and be able to make embankment’s slight hills etc for custom made stadiums. And have more props to place cricket 24 does this bloody well woth a few of these but RL26 seems to be missing abit ![]()
Is there any way to set commentators? I only get SL ones during career and Cameron Smith is dreadful to listen to.
Had a go last night & it seems the spin happens when you’re too close to the defender or about to get tackled it. instead of side stepping it will do a spin.
Looks decent when you fend them off after a spin.

The improvement/speeding up of AI general play kicking/punting is a huge game changer. Huge.
This can still be improved upon further with animation glitching/close to the tryline kicking but such a better game for it. Have had the AI kick half a dozen 40/20s on 4th tackle and also a 20/40, having to think about dropping my wingers back now. I would love to see the AI kick chase tightened up a bit now between the Centre and 2nd Rower and the drop goal ball physics improved.
Finding the AI is far less predictable too with the ball, don’t know which side of the ruck they’re going to play and AI actually providing some wow moments with passing and moves.

It’s added and in the game just hidden for now so the team have done all the work to have it there - they just need NSWRL to allow it to be released.
Similar issue to the frequent knock ons we had but now accidental offside, just in a game now where a pass went to ground, my player ran into it knocking it back with his feet and then picked it up, was called an accidental offside when it would be play on 100% of the time.
Looks like the Half/Five-eight positioning has been fixed with the latest update. Appreciate the work BA. Ruck and ruck speed feeling a lot tidier too
…Why has the run metre stat been removed? There is literally every single stat except running metres

Fantastic fun. Hope there is no going backwards from here, just more improvement. Been a great week of updates gameplay wise imo, thank-you BA for your work.
-Halves are moving around freely either side of the ruck, coming up with some real nice creative plays because of it.
-AI has made some smart decisions in leaving the ball alone over the touchlines/dead ball line on kicks.
-Love the single man speed chase off the kickoff.
-Scrum set ups different, maybe a little odd at times in numbers and causing some issues but just nice to see some variance.
-AI kick chase feeling tighter.
-Ruck feels tighter and ruck speed has improved, getting some nice flow on and off the ball.
-AI starting to put up the bomb.
- Half/Five-eight on correct sides of the field
Feel with this week’s recent updates the game has finally broken away from RLL4 and reached a new level. Cheers

There still is an issue with the AI fullback running the ball over the deadball line when collecting a punt kick.
I’m really hoping this can be eradicated and fixed for good.
Starting to see a few moments though where the AI leaves the ball alone close to the sideline and deadball line off punt kicks. Clip below shows AI Tommy T allowing the ball to go dead for a 20 metre restart after a punt down field. All good stuff. Cheers
I think they may have fixed this in a recent update. Doesn’t seem to happen anymore. Fingers crossed.

The game is playing pretty great, but still a few minor issues. Sometimes AI defenders seem to warp/magnetically suck onto your attacking players from a short distance away. The markers can be too hard to pull back into position at times. AI manages intercepts and to be in the way of passing a massive amount of times. We can’t get intercepts as well as the AI by being in the passing path like they do, the AI merely passes over us. Would be nice if we could get away those kind of passes without intecepts, particularly on the lowest two difficulties.
I would really like to see Season Stats, Team Of The Week and End Of Season award winners introduced into the basic Competition Mode!
I get 5 or 6 intercepts a game but I play the full 80 in pro mode and i have learn’t not to throw a cutout or offload with an opposition player between me and the target
Have to really utilise on defence holding the player down in the tackle to give both my markers any chance of being square now.
I really like the direction this is heading in and for the most part the AI hooker is reacting well and taking advantage of those moments when I’m not square.
Having to also really watch the tackling animation closely now and having to make quicker and earlier decisions on who to control. Really good.
Still the odd moments where the AI dummy half just hesitates and stops when catching selected markers not square, often resulting in the play being overrun and simple forward passes being thrown. But for the most part working really well.
Playing Broadcast cam though the player switch with Right Joystick is so wacky for me at the moment and most the time almost impossible to select the desired/first defender in the line.
I don’t mind the little loss of the control when I’m controlling the selected square marker (second marker in an offside position) if the Right Stick switch is behaving.
Seems select Fullback L1+R1 is the safe play giving up a few extra yards.
Support play has just improved again, particularly having some nice moments with my Second-rowers following the play. Wind working a lot better too with kicking and finding conversions a bit tougher when the winds up.
Have had my Centres and Wingers come in-field looking for some extra work early in the set too which is nice to see.
Super League/Championship/League One playing great, think I’ll be toning down NRL Right Stick skills soon in player stats, find it is a better balance when these skills are 70 sub rated.
