I’m not a fan of the new update passing mechanics. It ruins the way I create plays. I preferred the old style where you could hold down the pass trigger and your player would stay in the passing animation until you released it to a certain player. That gave me more control over the timing of the pass and let you pull off hesitation or dummy passes to fake out defenders before committing to the pass. The new mechanics make the passing feel less fluid and remove a lot of the creativity. I mean it will take some time to get use to but I’d prefer the old style passing.

Hey Xis, Can you please try and make the Indigenous patterning of the Penrith Panthers 2026 Indigenous Jersey for me 
Has anyone heard of they are planning on updating the NRLW teams rosters and playing kits for the current, presently ⅓rd-of-the-way-through 2026 season?
I imagine creating the NRLW Magic Round in the Wagga Wagga stadium might be too much, as I don’t recall seeing that stadium in the game, but the rosters and jerseys shouldn’t be too much to request, I’d think?
A nice addition that I just noticed is the ‘arrow’ try celebration. Love it! Nice touch.
Does anyone know when or if there is a 2027 season update coming 
You won’t get that until week one of next year because it’s too early for that because obviously we can’t predict squads and lineups now.
Just want to point out there are problems with the defense.
Players are walking forward before the play the ball and at times right up to the play the ball like a Rugby Union defense and aren’t getting called offside when the ball is played.

I had a weird one the other day. I put a low kick into the in-goal. Not a grubber or a chip, just a low, short kick to try and tackle them in the in-goal and get a repeat set. Kick goes in, bounces once before their fullback collects it. Ref blows for a knock on against them. I had to go to the replay because I didn’t see the knock on or a bobble out anything. Replay shows he just got the ball off the first bounce and had started running with it. Absolutely no knock on.
Glad it happened to the AI team and not mine, but still a weird glitch to see.
That’s going to make it even harder for me to score!
Defense is still broken after the new update.
Also had new passing bugs happen.
Another thing I have noticed is the Commentators are saying incorrect conversion stats. I’ve kicked 4 successful goals, but they say “he’s kicked 3 from 3”

Another disappointing update honestly just feels like they don’t listen at all any suggestions made in here don’t even get seen and they add stuff no body wants games been dead for a while I use to play every day with the amount of bugs and all the other crap I can’t even pick it up anymore absolute trash I’m done with it
While it’s unfortunate and annoying, I think it is something that has started to be said before we can hit the ‘skip animation’ button, and by the time we’ve already got the goal, the commentator is still talking as if it was before the kick … because when he started, it WAS before the kick! I’d like to think they could move that commentary trigger to being after a goal is kicked / missed, not before it.
Wait a few seconds before taking conversions and it’s correct. It’s not technically a bug, just the timing of the commentary is off, they’re not commenting on the current kick, the game isn’t that smart.
Does anybody think that the recent updates that the game has been getting is just patch notes or something
