On the switch version does crossplay work? I’ve tried changing the setting but it’s highlighted in blue and italics and I can’t select it.

Have you played? How does this update feel?
New update is pretty good and volleying is noticeable in terms of it being more effective. It does say in the patch notes improve ball physics, but still have instances where the ball would unnaturally fly off the racket especially for a volley.
AI is pretty fun to play against on legendary (played against Gael) and they had a good variety of shots, AI moved up to the net more often.
I do hope eventually manual aim will be a option for tiebreak ( it definitely changed the game for the better for ba’s other game afl26 when manual aim kick and handball became a option)
The lack of player inertia I hope will be addressed in the future.
It’s great BA has continued to do updates and hope this is he start of another run of updates that gets pushed out
Also would be nice if there is an option to adjust the quality of the grass surface. From lush green (fast and low bounce) to dry and variable bounce.
Additionally, would be great to have dynamic grass surface over the course of a grasscourt tournament and would add another dimension to the game (up against better opponents and more difficult conditions) right now the surface is like day 5 of a test match at the mcg flat track and still perfect
The game is great as it is if not perfect and for me it is the best tennis game ever and i own them all,hated Tennis Elbow 4 and got a full refund,also traded in Topspin 2K25 after 6 weeks. I am not after a full simulation and am very happy with 70% sim and 30% arcade,maybe there should be a true sim mode for hardcore players.
I wouldn’t mind a hardcore ‘PRO’ control scheme using both joysticks. left for movement, right to aim, and the bumpers and triggers as shot selection L1/2 for backhand, R1/2 for forehand, and to hold to charge up the power. (double tap and or combos for alternative shots like slices and drop shots)
Add in a manual HUD similar to AFL26 for aim ( larger HUD when scrambling or off balance, less accurate and smaller HUD when in position and set for a more accurate shot)
similar to how pro batting in cricket 24 but for tennis

I think there’s been a mix-up in the current update. Kristina Mladenovic and Kateřina Siniaková both play right-handed, not left-handed.
Wow what a mess of an update for new players along with Marin Cilic around 5ft 10in instead should be 6ft 6in

Hi, I’m here to report some inaccuracies in the game that I think break the realism of the game. I’m a court geek, so I notice them pretty well.

Doha sponsors
It’s an ATP event, but the sponsors are WTA’s, which is pretty annoying. -
Moselle naming
As compared to IRL, in TB, both labels are Moselle, but IRL, one of them is Grand Est.
- Los Cabos colours
BA, this one is bad. The contrast on the court color is so eye sickening. It looks like a community venue.
- Hangzhou mispelling+model+naming
In court selection, Hangzhou is still Zhuhai. And in court labels, Hangzhou is mispronounced as Hangzou. And I don’t know if they took the model from Zhuhai, but isn’t Hangzhou supposed to be in a stadium? In TB it’s just an open air court with buildings around.
I don’t know how TB works, whether they follow the new year or no (like FIFA for example, 23 is just for 22/23, no updates after), but if they don’t, please take note of these:
- Venue deletion, in 2025 Cordoba, Lyon, Newport and Estoril (cmiiw if I missed some) are removed. It would be nice to see them removed too from the career mode tour.
- Venue model, Dallas changed venue and is now an ATP 500, so is Doha. Regarding Dallas, the court is now black.

Do the custom difficulty sliders you set in the game Main Menus apply to Career Mode? Or is the difficulty for Career Mode only from the generic settings from within Career Mode? The settings inside Career Mode.
I’m doing some testing and I don’t think so… I started a match, was too hard, backed out to Main Menu sliders, changed some things, went back to resume Career Mode match and it was still hard for me. Unless the updates don’t take effect until a new match in Career Mode is started…

yes the update is for the players height plus the game crashing when u upload the players , i spoke with them last week and they said the QC will solve the crash, now we can again upload to the community, added logos to the whites and made Wimbledon chairs full green
Ball has more effec,feel a bit heavier. The CPU didn’t made left right, left right, there are variation : short ball, near the net, slice, near the frontline. When it serves, first serv is between 75 and 88%. It’s better. I have notice that.

On PS5 both girls are now playing right handed,all the players added with height and model errors like Cilic who is now 6ft 6in not 5ft 10in and Fognini now is correctly shorter, i think you should check the game properly before making incorrect comments. You would only need to go on Discord and you would know.
