January marks 6 months since this game was released and during that time we have had plenty of updates. Some for the betterment of the game some that have just created more problems. Not sure how they test the play after an update but it appears that some of the games custom settings only work when you are playing a play now game and not when you are playing a custom comp.
Here are some things i think need urgent attention.
The NRL presently has 17 teams. A custom comp can only have 16 teams this is an oversight that has been neglected
Jersey creations are a backward step from previous versions of the games
Stadium crowds do not have supporters wearing team jerseys
Custom stadiums are a backward step from previous versions. An example you cannot make Henson park as you cannot elevate parts of the grounds.
Custom difficulties basically do not work.
Created match types only work in play now and do not work in custom comps.
Game play faults.
Kicks into a player in an offside position do not create a penalty.
Last play options by the CPU are at times appalling.
Players are still retreating towards the dead ball line in defence and not joining into the tackle to stop the player from sliding to the ground in a one on one and scoring.
The game is decent by the way but these problems that appear to never be addressed are making it an ordinary game.
I hope these are on the cards to be addressed soon.
