Hot tip for anyone that hasn’t hit the issue yet: Don’t go to the Store.
Once you do (and maybe a Reward Pack starts opening) you can’t get back to play games until it’s fixed.
But if you don’t go there, you can keep playing the Pro Team modes.
Awesome thanks for the heads up, I’ll aim to just smash out some games in the mean time, and hold back on packs/store till it’s fixed and hope I have a heap to open once it is fixed
Every time I player ladder leaders my game crashes and I fail, and every time I player Premiership Challenge and am up by 30+ points up to nothing in the 2nd quarter I lose connection to steam even with an ethernet connection.
FML. BigAnt, if you can’t fix this game and its servers that have wasted hours of my time, at least don’t count this as a ‘loss’ and leave me with nothing. Absolutely ridiculous.
You should be able to get back in now, some things have been disabled while we continue to work on the issue. If you still can’t get in let support know and add “PROTEAMERROR” to the ticket exactly, caps and no space, as it is written so we can look at individual accounts.
Pardon my extreme ignorance here, but out of curiosity @JNT_BA, what are some of the common things that make it go from “it’s working fine”, to “oh no, it’s all gone to poo”?
As from what I can tell with this issue is that nothing was implemented by you guys, yet one minute it works and the next it doesn’t and you need to look at workarounds to fix the situation.
Also, if there are things we should avoid to prevent this from happening in the future, that’d be handy to know too.
Theres no real easy answer to that one. Sometimes no matter how much you do things pop up. Somethings we just have to do on the spot, that you think were impossible to happen.
This one was tougher to track down as the time of this starting was very unusual and didn’t link with any event. So finding the cause was infinitely harder as it made it look completely random.
