Wait a minute, isn’t there an option to toggle injuries in the option for games?
So, That doesn’t actually do anything? Then why is the option still selectable then?
I’m not trying to be rude and I’m trying to be as respectful as possible, but you’d think if it’s something that you don’t plan on adding to the game that you wouldn’t have it as an option on the menu…
It kinda makes things look a bit rushed and put together on the fly. I’m starting to think that AFL 23 should have gone through the Early Access process that Tiebreak and Rugby 25 went through and that maybe if Big Ant does do another AFL game that Early Access might be the way to go.
There just seems to be quite a lot of things that seem to be there but aren’t functioning properly and it just makes me question why they are currently in the game if they aren’t working as intended and aren’t planned to be fully added in… It kinda ironically makes the game feel quite Early Access IMO…
Yeah it’s been like this since launch same with suspensions. Would love them to fix it but obviously there’s been so many things that take priority away from that. Gameplay is now in a pretty good state so you never know
One thing I have noticed though if a player gets a specky or a special spoil taken on them they sometimes go down and have this weird injury like animation and then get back up
Both of those do work they are for simulation. It has been that way the whole time. If they didn’t work as intended it would have been removed. Again this is a case of it doesn’t work how I expect it to so it must be broken needs to be fixed. People have mentioned these from the release of the game how it works. These are not new revelations.
Dude comes for another ‘gotcha’ moment and once again snuffs it! You’d reckon 18 months + after the game had released he’d have some idea how the game actually functions OR even give up on the quest to throw pot shots at the company that he seemingly has a personal vendetta against. It’s almost like he was rejected for a job there? Stick to your BigFooty posts ‘I don’t even touch management mode’ and Reddit, they seem to suit your like seeking drivel.
Ok awesome thank you mate, the most I have got is like 4 in a game and 3 of them were the ones that were counting towards and that was in a 7.5 min quarter game seems impossible/tricky. It seems it may I have to resubscribe to PS Plus and play a friendly if someone is nice enough to help me get the 8 free kicks
@JNT_BA with the new patch is there any possibility of new packs or new cards soon?
Would love to see player cards added to the reward for finishing a ladder leaders, if the difficulty started at medium or hard and went up slowly there could be like a diamond or obsidian at the end for completing it like. Would it be possible to have a 2012 Brownlow Jobe Watson for that reward or just in the game or would something like that not be allowed.
Also with that when you make an afl game is there things that the afl say you can’t add? Like tarryn thomas or other controversies
In-game stats when a player is lining up for goal are too often straight up incorrect, it’s not about wanting something new - so often it shows up with ‘0 career games’ as a statistic.
So many of the ruckman (along with key position players) drafted in management mode are 180cm, which I would also define as a clear error.
I’d also consider not having any injuries or suspensions in games you actually play another error, although I suppose that may be considered more a logical consumer preference based on what’s expected from a modern sports game.
Having players who’ve played only a handful of games in a season featuring in the AA side I would also consider being something that needs to be fixed.
