Yeahh i also noticed this today as well @JNT_BA whats going on…?

I don’t think there’s much point tagging JNT in here anymore :man_shrugging:t2:. I would guess that at some point there will be someone else manning the board as his replacement.

Congratulations on the promotion though mate!

Like I’m still here, when I can be, but as mentioned, I’m way out of the loop at the moment. I’ll ask the AFL team about this when I can.

Finally packed a Scott Pendlebury for the objectives wahoo, absolutely loving pro team, as someone who plays most of the sports card collecting games (love the grind and collecting) I can tell you that the others aren’t getting much of a look in at the moment
(got the gold version from 2023 gold premiership pack)

First time I’ve seen this from a Simulated match!

That’s good to hear. Might be nice if we could get someone from the AFL team to be an admin here too.

That way, We can keep in contact with the AFL team and allow you to be able to fully focus on the Rugby 25 side of things.

love this! hopefully can happen in user matches also

Good stuff mate! Haven’t come across him yet either. I also need the Travis Boak 2024 for another of the objectives :crossed_fingers:

Congrats on the promo JNT.

No doubt there is a potential AFL mod waiting in the wings. I think there’s great potential to take things to the next level - clearly we have a small passionate community here that could be a great resource for BA. Personally I’d love a bit of clarity on effort on what is and isn’t viable with the current engine so we can focus on the stuff that actually matters.

What are the chances we get legends in offline modes (Quick Play, Season, Management Mode, Career)?

I don’t want to come across as rude but I am going to keep repeating myself until it is fixed. The behinds bug in season mode is really frustrating as it has been in the game since day 1. It is a very basic component that should really have been identified and addressed by now and shouldn’t really require someone to bring it to Bigants attention.

Key forwards from simulated games in ā€˜Season mode’ kick a crazy high amount of behinds. If you play as one team, and stimulate all other season games, key forward behinds will be double, triple and sometimes quadruple the given key forwards goals.

Total team goals behinds for simulated matches will be realistic, however almost always most teams behinds are scored by the key forwards. For example if Sydney kick 10.13 vs GWS kick 15.9 then Joel Amartey may have 0.5, Hayden McLean 1.4 and Jesse hogan will have like 2.5 and Aaron Cadman 0.2

It is frustrating if I’m playing a season as one team with 7.5 min qtr games and the highest CPU Coleman leader is Ben King with 26.68 followed by Calum Ah Chee with 24.9.

The imbalance just appears to be with key forwards and in contrast the other players are too accurate, and this has been an issue in season mode since the game release.

If I play a season as Brisbane, the Coleman leaderboard might read something like this:

Eric Hipwood(me) 62.24
Logan Morris (me 54.26
Calum Ah Chee (me) 41.27
Jack Higgins 38.9
Jamie Elliott: 37.14
Gryan Miers: 35.12
Josh Rachele: 33.10
Ben King: 32.68
Jesse Hogan: 29.72
Mitch Lewis: 28.45
Jordan De Goey: 28.17
Can Rayner(me): 28.15
Nick Larkey: 26.60
Jack Gunston: 26.57
Then might get some ridiculous stat lines further down such as:

Max King: 17.81
Jye Amiss: 9.41

looks like a patch has just been released? according to steam db.

Would be good to know whats new.

Gonna be a busy day tomorrow - checking out new patch for AFL 26 and also RL26.

I don’t know if I’m imagining this but I saw a short clip of rl26 gameplay and a player was tackled while trying to kick and they shanked it ———— so it’s possible.

And they use joysticks for kicking for conversions………like okay kool ba, bring it over to afl yeah for set shots?

Hopefully RL26 is good. I won’t buy it straight up but if it gets good reviews potentially I might. Lets us know how it is :star_struck:

Did the same thing with Cricket 22 (which is how I got into Cricket lol), so maybe the same for Rugby this time around

Hoping some drastic improvements to online

That would depend on your definition of grind I guess? I think most here would say yes it is, but in the very BEST way. You get rewarded for putting in the hard yards.

The mode is massive amount of fun for me.

new patch:

Feels like marking got easier, this makes the game feel easier -especially playing a high kicking game

AI (played against stk and they had trouble getting out of their def 50)

2.ish GB update - nothing new in terms of settings

im guessing stability was the focus of the patch?

In between matches, also play igRL26 (installing and playing their conversion kicks). I like the fact that the camera is further from the player in those set-shot moments. I also like the fact that the right joystick controls power and kicking - although the sensitivity for accuracy could be bumped up and should be an option for AFL 26

Anyone on Xbox want to confirm the patch size was 10gb?
