People are complaining about the ridiculous chances to get the objective cards, not the gameplay itself

A (possible dev supplied) Heeney was 5k yesterday, I thought no way. Iāll keep an eye on the bidding war card. Long story short it was 6k last I checked!
Interesting discussion thatās for sure, (minus the personal stuff which hopefully gets cleaned up).
It wasnāt all that long ago we were discussing the fact that cards were too easy to obtain, all the teams were the same, there should be exclusivity for those going the extra mile etc.. Now weāre here, itās not all it was cracked up to be perhaps? Or maybe itās an overcorrection? I mean a 99 Fire Obsidian should be pretty damn difficult to get and not available in too many teams?
- just an observation thatās all, Iāll be pretty amazed if I earn all of these objective cards myself this season

Nah i was mistaken, moved heeney a couple of days ago. This threads more active than the subreddit lol.
I did put my ice cold Gawn up a while ago at 80% of what id paid, ballpark 1k. Bidding war got to 8k. Insanity
The issue, imo is itās not skilled based. Like Iām all for top tier rewards being hard to get. The issue for mine is, theres no skill in " use card to get card" when its just hollow cash grabs.

My Gawn sold for roughly 20k, nobody should be paying $50 for an objective card

Nothing makes me laugh more than someone having a total meltdown over someone else sharing criticism and feedback that could improve the experience for the player base and saying theyāre constantly ācomplainingā, then to go and complain about how people canāt play the game unless itās in a specific way

I know this is a big open conversation Border but with the greatest respect I think weāre mixing two discussions - exclusivity and probability.
I 100% support exclusivity - I think it should be something like one level 40 FO card per season (or choice of FO card) with that player being a certified legend, or at minimum a brownlow or norm smith player etc. I think thatās definitely the right idea.
Setting that aside, if weāre going to have half a dozen FOs a season (i.e. the oppopsitve of what Iām suggesting), then BA shouldnāt hide them behind improbable odds and dangle them in front of the player like they are the only show in town. Thatās it. Donāt lock a player out because they didnāt embrace a gamblers mindset and throw $100 at the store.
If the packs werenāt nerfed the way they are and you could actually buy the pack that corresponds to the colour you are chasing then this convo would probably be different.
Even though theyāre expensive, the sapphire decorated player packs 9/10 times give me a sapphire. The emerald packs are complete scams though, so many times Iāve gotten only golds.

Ah okā¦ are you talking about Clearance kick (L2+X)? So they donāt have to power up a kick and just roost it 50m in any direction?
Because chip kick is the L1+R1 kick over the top, to give some height to it.
At least, thatās my understanding.

Is the best game mode for objectives coach battles?
Tough question that really depends on what youāre chasing to be honest. If itās just pure stats to fulfill objective hunting then yes. Best way is to play Head to Head battles with teams loaded from the community (choose a very low rated one). You can also refresh until you come across a low rated one. You could also make a very low rated bronze team yourself and upload it, get the code generated and play it (havenāt done it but in theory it should work). Select Easiest Level and 10 min quarters for maximum bang for your buck (or contract).
The other modes are ok too if you want the bonus of the reward on offer at the end however you canāt customise the quarter length and difficulty. Hope that long winded answer helps!

100% thatās the way to do it. Sadly playing 10m quarters on easy or easiest gives the biggest return which can be a bit like watching paint dry. You can kind of gamify it by fine tuning a team to achieve 5+ āachieve x in one matchā objectives at once.
With the sale just had another splurgeā¦Iām up to 656 players from 2024 with no Heeney. You couldnāt make this stuff up. Given BA hate emerald packs for old cards for some reason, looks like I have an overinflated auction house bid in my future.

No. My internet connection is perfectly fine and works as expected with every other game. Iāve been stuck ādownloading dataā for far too long in the last week or two.
