and i think having actual set goals to meet and making it harder to have a good game would solve this issue. right now my player can stat pad and by that alone have him BOG but in reality Could have a horrible game cause my opponent kicked 5 onn me as a defender - that should make it harder to level up and even keep their place in the team
In all seriousness, most of those players in the picture had cards just released last week with set 1 of 2026 lists. (like for example they released a 95 Sinclair and 95 Cameron, now a 93 Sinclair and 92 Cameron?). They shouldâve released the set 2 of the rest of the teams before this.
Gâday team,
Itâs been a while. Can anyone tell me what a âFoilâ card is? Iâve got an objective that requires a Key Forward Foil card, but unsure if I have one already or need to look for a diamond in the rough.
âFoilâ is an archetype of Key Forwards. Not a card type.
Although looking at that icon⌠I need to change it in the guide.
@JNT_BA Is it just a description of the archetype or is the AI actually made to pull their opponents up the ground. Just curious ![]()
The archetypes give a bonus to the stats of that particular type. So some +/- depending on what it is.
A couple of the new weekly Pro Team objectives say to use TOTW26 players, but I donât see any way to get these cards. Am I missing something?
Was just wondering if pro team in afl 26 will get card collection rewards. I was playing cricket 26 and saw it there and was curious to know if afl 26 would get it any time soon if at all?
With the new rule set for 2026, one significant change aimed at speeding up and opening up the game is the introduction of âRuck Nominations.â Under this new rule, umpires can now restart play without requiring a nominated ruckman to be present.
Currently, this rule has not yet been implemented into the game, as every stoppage still results in a complete reset. Rucks are always ready and waiting in position and with all other players set up around the contest to their designated positions.
Perhaps it is time to reconsider this approach. Instead of requiring a reset of positions after every stoppage, players will need to run into position, adding a dynamic element to the game and obviously opening it up.
If this is changed in the game, fatigue and how easily it drains will also need to be addressed. cause right now it is like every player is still in pre-season and getting tired after short sprints. wouldnât want everyone to be looking dead before getting close to the ball.
Iâve thought of similar things for a while with out of bounds, and behinds/kick-ins. Would be cool, but could create absolute chaos in the game (and maybe no good times to make interchanges).
Currently those resets ensure those swaps can be made.
I agree; Iâm fairly certain the game has been designed to allow player exchanges during the reset. However, this design choice means that players donât have to traverse the ground, which leads to increased congestion within the game. As a result, there is a lack of free movement due to the frequent resets.
Like if the requirement to have the players move across the ground, maybe it is now the best time to update the game so that you see players running off and on the groundâŚâŚ.taking into consideration where they are and the status of play.
BUT also now with the fatigue issue, maybe needing players to move across the ground wonât work - it will just look like a bunch of 80-year-olds being out of breath jogging around and not paid professional athletes
I just wanna see more cutscenes during the game after whistles like 2k and fifa do to give it a tv presentation feel
Foil KFWDs are your players with the swinging chess piece (canât remember if itâs a bishop or king or something from memory).
If you got the Loyalty Cards, Jeremy Cameron is like a 93 Foil KFWD.
I think theyâre definitely rarer compared to other archetypes though - the only other I have is like a 58ish Isaac Keeler.
I donât know if @JNT_BA can answer how common they are, compared to say a Crumbing or Push Up? Just out of general curiosity.
Yeah for the lasso rule I was thinking it would be awesome for the play to force you to run to the ball push X to pick it up and you could play on quick.
The CPU is too easy. I think a major part of this is because when they have no options they donât kick it long to a contest. Instead the CPU will chip a kick right to the opposition
Yeah that would be awesome - less cut scenes - more just players running to get the pill.
Could also work for the stoppage where yeah no longer wait for the ruckman - just press x to nominate (i guess you can assign multiple players in tactics) and if none of them there is as manual option i guess hold L1 (player switch) which give multiple options and then just select the player
Has anyone got a solution to this issue - ProTeam Premiership Challenge.
It occurs on a daily basis, sometimes even more.
Becomes quite annoying as it chews through contracts but also just abruptly ends the game. There hasnât been any pattern to it - just at any random time (up or down etc.)
Iâm sure the opposition think itâs a rage quit situation - which at times when I find myself down by 10 goals, does cross my mind ![]()
But Iâd much rather get the XP from playing it out.
Yes I do have PS Plus and a good stable network connection.
Unsure if it may be an occurring bug, if anyone else has this experience or hopefully someone has a solution
@JNT_BA
This is the number one reason I havnt played premiership challenge on over 2 seasons now. You can also be 10 goals up and get the loss because the opponent disconnects. Or even better yet somebody quits first QTR and you waste contracts
Is there a known issue for no match or performance points in career mode? Even if I win still donât get any points. I have to only hit the objective ones, regardless of result. I won a game got 40+ and kicked a few goals. But no match result or performance points. I have lodged a ticket. Wondering if anyone else having same issue. Also the career statistics donât update I just noticed. Like still shows I have only played 5 games from the U18 cup.
