AFL 26 - Megathread - This is not a support forum

:joy: I only relate back to it every month haha

I have tweaked them a little since the start of the year when I posted that I think, all I’ll say is majority of my games are close as so anyone who wants a challenge copy them tweak them with the sliders I posted yesterday and you’ll no doubt have some fun with them.

These are the goods :ok_hand: :ok_hand:

Glad you enjoy them ! Having the spoiling and marking timing down is what makes it more challenging especially in the D 50. (I may of lowered it more since I posted them but just find a good medium) Otherwise plays pretty good for my liking, more close games too :ok_hand:

First time I’ve seen this :eyes:

Also just seen the new runouts for special games. What’s the possibility for getting these in all games @JNT_BA because these are MUCH improved

My guess - AFL 29 released in Q2 2028.

Well on a technicality the game is actually named as AFL25.exe in the files so I’m still banking on 2 year cycles.

honestly wouldnt mind a new release sooner rather than later to allow BA to try new ideas.
Right now, AFL 26 feels more like the Tiebreak equivalent of AFL, playable due to how it is heavily guided by animations, magnetism, and assisted outcomes.

a new release in my dreams could allow them to make it with a Tennis Elbow 4 philosophy:

  • more manual control

  • less magnetism

  • more physics-driven contests

  • more reward for timing and positioning

  • more user-created mistakes

  • less animation lock-on

This has always been possible if you kick the ball too low
