I’m on series x, my game works amazing. Im wondering about these legacy rewards, i definitely spent a lot on ptc for afl 23. Shpuld xbox people have received the legacy rewards yet? And how do i tell if i am eligible? I cant work out how to see name plate to tell if its gold…
I think I might’ve solved the fatigue issue, or whether they’ve patched it. I’m 4 weeks into the new season and everyone is conditioned.
Sooooo are we any closer to actually getting some proper fixes? Game should never have been released, its woeful. Would have preferred a remastered version of AFL Live 2004
Has anyone found the “best” sliders for afl 26 player career.I’ve played around with mine and I can’t find any good results. Would be nice to play career and have some more realistic scorelines (like more behinds, more run and carry sort of things). As I said I have tinkered with them but ultimately I hope someone’s found some that work well for them and I can give them a try.
There is a thread on here for sliders (wont let me share the link) , @shlev has done a good job of tinkering around. His settings are what I’m using
Nah mate this is nothing to do with sliders, purely comes down to poorly developed gameplay. Extremely evident through numerous other posters and gameplay vids online. This one is up to big ant to fix, nothing to do with the user.
Anyone else’s team in Career mode absolutely suck? I’m on medium difficulty while I’m learning the ropes of the game and the opposition goes on a run of 7 goals every game. I’m getting barely any supply into the forward line to even kick goals.
I also can’t level up my player anymore (the option disappeared) where to from here? Lol
1v1’s feel impossible to win majority of the time too.
might just be a skill issue?? raise a ticket if so
Contested marking is actually pretty solid in the game. Offline anyway, I cant comment on online. If you’re finding it a bit tough, you can tweak the difficulty settings. The sliders let you lower the marking difficulty to ‘easy’ while keeping other aspects at ‘medium’, for example. You can even fine-tune individual marking settings using these sliders.
Improving your gameplay isn’t just about adjusting settings. Enhancing your kicking skills—like delivering the ball in front of teammates—can make a significant difference. Also, being strategic about matchups—targeting taller players or positioning strong intercept markers in the backline.
The game’s mechanics for marking are sound; any disconnect might stem from a need to adapt your strategies and improve your skills.
Do the sliders work for Career also?!
Doesn’t this stuff up the development of player skills/attributes because they’re not getting any coaching?
@Stkilda7894 Ok, but if you’re referring to online gameplay that’s a different story. The sliders are based off offline gameplay and you can literally set them up so that you can mark every ball if you want to…hence gameplay sliders
@Hughja I’m still on my first coach career run, only a couple of seasons in so I haven’t been able to really notice a difference yet. I’m just making sure for now I have fresh players every week
Cheers for that. You still getting injuries and fresh line ups?
Yeah injuries are still happening, which I like because I can rotate the squad depth through
What injury settings are you using? Full or reduced?
That would be at the start of the coach mode setup right? I would say I definitely went full
Just sniped 2024 emerald Kyle Langford for only 609 PTC on the auction! No one decided to bid and there’s another one with 3 hours left already got people putting 6k on it, crazyyyyy.
No I was referring to player career in my original post. Try playing as a forward and taking a mark when your opponent is within 5 metres of you, genuinely impossible. The issue is only occurring in player career I feel.
Have no issues with marking in any other game mode and can jostle etc, but single player career is a no go I feel
Yeah I’ve experienced this, I’m thinking it’s because of the low rating of the player but I haven’t played around with sliders and player career too much I’ll be honest
