Lost to Collingwood 32-93

I think there is a glitch on displaying the stats, when I came off the ground to bench l was on 22 disposals but when I came back on I was on 43 disposals. @JNT_BA ?

I have been unable to take a mark since the game was released when I press triangle on my PS4 the players go for a spoil and never a mark. Is this a known bug?

And this is why I don’t bother with any career modes. It is so unrealistic. I just hope they fix injury carry over in season mode.

@JNT_BA I was wondering if it was still possible to make the smother and tackle button the same and depending whether your in front or behind the player as to what the command would be. I’m struggling to remember so many different buttons. Maybe even a more simple control option?

I would try another controller if you have one. It sounds like you have some stick drift on the right stick (this is used for spoiling)

The tactics are all over the place, and most of them don’t work. Some examples; the tagger doesn’t tag, in fact it does the opposite. I selected Bedford to tag Petracca on the ball yet at each stoppage Bedford and Patracca are loose on opposite sides of the ruck.

The kick in tactics don’t work. All players start in the corridor and sprint towards the kick taker.

The zone tactics leave all defenders spare in the backline and no zone formation to the play.

The Wide ball movement option doesn’t work. There are never a pack of players on the wing. Most hang around corridor randomly.

The tactics are a mess.
No sign of real coach input whatsoever.

After the latest patches, the stuck in the mud is reappearing. Controller input commands lag and are inconsistent.

Teleporting tackles are back. Just played a game on easy and had about 10 incorrect disposal free kicks against me in a 15 min match.

The stamina and injuries isn’t fixed. The game is not up to scratch.

Paid a mark but defender literally up his a$$. As soon as i attempt a kick or hand ball, it’s holding the ball. Yet another glitch and another reason this game is unplayable.

And yet another instance of two players on the same team waltzing together on the far side. No formations whatsoever

Anyone else finding this game super easy? Even on hardest difficulty I’m smashing teams by over 100 points every game..

The only way to win easy on this game is the long kick mark kick mark style. If you try replicating the real sport, it will be more of a challenge for you

Squeezed in a game before watching the real thing Had a pretty good match.

Tackles held up and didn’t hold sprint and used r1 effectively.

Again icon switching saves the day when defending (14 intercept marks…..not bad)

Handballing really kills the running game and had to resort to clearance handballs to maintain the momentum, not being to aim manually in front of the player to keep them running is disappointing . The lack of precision and randomness for clearance handball is not great

Kicking goals on the run, that system could do with some work……..a lot of work……

Had two goals in the game where I just used manual kicking to kick at goal.

Honestly wouldn’t mind having manual kick but with the goal post indicator nearby to aim when in range

I found positioning yourself to be the best tactic especially if your down or it’s a close match to get those much needed Jeremy McGovern intercept marks across the field. I dominate in intercept marks as a tall midfielder.

Yep just pick a player and drop them into space. Most times you’ll find yourself being able to cut off kicks. T.stewart just swallowing them up

Believe this has to do with marking while sprinting I’ve had this happen in front of goal but allowed me to take a set shot

I hope one day there will be an option for ā€˜No assist’ and it being fully manual.

I wonder how it will affect the gameplay.

If this means the controlled player isn’t dragged into a marking contest - thus allowing more freedom of movement that might be interesting.

Oh yeah and having the freedom to jump for a mark whenever would be nice too. Yes I know there is a circle that your player has to be within which turns green and that’s when you press triangle. But like what if I wanna position my player a bit forward of the circle and press triangle a bit earlier?. I also find that sometimes it doesn’t even go green and no matter how many times I press triangle my player doesn’t jump for the ball..feels like the game wants to be as polished as possible but some of the systems they have are half baked and doing the opposite………making it simpler (more manual control) give it back to the players and yes it might look ugly (until people master it) but also I feel will make the game better. A good example is how nfl 25 does in terms of their catching mechanics they have a marker on the ground also, but players can strafe and choose to jump whenever to intercept the ball.

I don’t think the game would even allow an unrealistic attempt at a specky, seeing the system aims at being so polished and you can even do it only when all things click into place……..
