I thought I better raise this now while in Early Access. Is it possible to look at a Strong tackle /Aggressive Tackle/ Big Hit ?
I just thinking back to RLL4 and also Rugby Challenge 4 and Rugby 22. There was options for this kind of tackle. Obviously it would use stamina and it could be successful, not successful or go wrong based on player stamina , timing, perhaps the body weight of Ai player running the ball and the weight and strength of your defender and Ai.
I am trying to look at the fact we have a tactic at our disposal to hit someone hard and make the game more fun when controlling an individual defender.
Right now it’s hard to get a tackle done when choosing a defender , I am sure this aspect will eventually improve while we are in EA but I was trying to get at the fun to be had with this kind of defensive decision making , choices and consequences. I know there must be so many things to cover in this game for the development team but I just thought raising this as a topic as I think it will make the game ultimately more fun, immersive and add excitement.
For me it would be enjoyable controlling or going up against some players such as Ardie Savea, Jasper Wiese , Eben Etzebeth, Taniela Tupou, Lachlan Swinton, Cameron Hanekom, Hunter Paisami , Samipeni Finau ,RG Snyman , who can put on a big hit and be intimidating in defence. Perhaps an aggression skills trait and discipline attributes could be needed in their player skills profile.
Anyway if it could please be considered if it was possible and if other players of Rugby 25 wanted to see this.
