Hi, will there be more batting animations/shot in future updates of cricket 26?
I feel there’s not much improvement in batting animations since cricket 19-26. Only a handful shots have been added.
Would love to see more amount of realistic shots. As there are hardly any leg side realistic shots since 19.
I love how the bowling animations have changed in cricket 26. So is there a possibility that in future updates we will get to see more batting shots?

The commentary in general needs an overhaul.
There’s a lot of comments on the crowd and how they are literally after every ball. It’s all a bit same.
the content of the commentary hasn’t improved from the last game with the same glitches where the commentary doesn’t line up with what has happened in the game.

The game has amazing graphics, no cricket game has ever been made with such graphics.But one of the biggest problems is that the batting shortstops in this game are very limited. All the previous ones are still there which is unrealistic. This area still needs a lot of improvement. Otherwise, the game will not be able to adjust to the current era in terms of gameplay.I request the authorities to pay attention to this issue, increase the batting shots and work more on batting.

Not downloaded the msot recent patch due to beng at work.
Have they patched on player career, being to field your own ball. If the ball comes back to you or is near you, you can move but very rarely are able to pick the ball up and have a shy at the stumps or throw to kepper.

Okay guys let me repeat this game is amazing, and with the usual continuous updates - this will easily be the best cricket game to date. The latest patch has resolved a lot of issues - mainly the low resolution on ps5 - it now looks normal and is running relatively smooth. There is still a slight lag when navigating the main screens - moving from play now to academy for example - there is a slight lag still (not as long as before) Some issues that still persist however: the speeds of the fast bowlers - they’re bowling 156kmph as their normal deliveries which is unrealistic - if that can be modified, that would be great - most bowlers bowl between 140-150, even the quicker ones now, with few exceptions like Mark Wood, Archer on a good day. if that natural speed could be adjusted, it would be great. You can use sliders in physics to modify how fast (real) the game looks while playing so even 135 kmph looks like real speed you see on television. Also the cut screen - the skipper is still walking through players during the cut screen mid-over. The 12th man is also being featured in the celebrations with the wickets still - its a cool feature to have sometimes, but not for every wicket celebration. And finally, I spent some time looking at the Indian bowling actions - Arshdeep Singh and Siraj - the ball loops in the air upon release, I did a slow replay and you actually see the ball gaining trajectory when they release it. And on the contrary - Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav - the ball dips upon release. Things to note, that can be fixed via future patches. Btw Washington Sundar and Yuzi Chahal’s actions are amazing - the biomechanics everything looks so real. As I said this game will be amazing. I’ll continue to provide feedback as I play more of it.

Why is there no Nintendo Switch 2 version of this game? More than capable of runnning it. More than. Seems off to have missed out that console BigAnt?
1-The error is inaccurate batting styles for majority players
Please allow us to edit batting styles of those licensed players who have inaccurate batting styles such as batters of indian nationality and also new added batting styles are only relevant if we d be allowed to apply them to prominent players with whom they match. Cricket 24 had a technique with which we could unlink and edit batting styles of those players. Hereby i request you to keep those players locked but just unlock their batting styles so that we can edit them
2-The error is that once custom bats are applied to a player dont get saved and the player gets reverted back to the default bat

I agree - it defeats the purpose having new batting styles in the game if the licensed players can’t use them. The only saving grace is if, as in Cricket 24, we get the download the custom/editable versions of the licensed players and make the necessary changes ourselves - Shai Hope is a prime example of someone who has his bat up in his set up as the bowler is running in. This should be reflected with one of the new batting styles to match his real life set up

I am currently unable to make any deliveries in this test match as I have a fielder standing on the wicket and cannot move him. Price increased, fielding and commentary just as awful as they have been since Cricket 19. I really had hope for this one, but the issues are unbearable, just like every release from Big Ant.
Big gripe! T20 World Championship is the old format pre 2024! Not only that, we can’t even create tournaments with pools with or without super groups!
I just enjoy playing the tournaments as they are going on too. Perhaps we can get an updated T20 world cup format with the teams at minimum, the in-game CWC 2023 format is great, with all the correct locations and format. That being said CWC27 will go to pool play as well!
Would love to be able to at least create the proper format.
Corby 84 there are 4 NZ stadiums licensed Auckland Eden park thats there from cricket 24 and the 3 new ones are Christchurch Hagely oval Turanga Bay oval and Wellington Basin Reserve they have also got bthe sponsors on the stumps and boundary cushions like ANZ Tegel etc there awesome stadiums hopefuly they can some more like Hamilton Napier Dunedin Nelson etc

As a follow up from this - I personally enjoy playing test cricket and would love the new cycle - 2025-2027 - the fixtures are still the same from Cricket 22 - this would be a nice addition.

It looks like when any batsman play a shot the camera moves away from the pitch just a fraction of a second. It’s only focus on the ball. For this reason we cant see & feel the shot properly (like bat swings, stunning shots). It’s running supper fast!! But in real life we can see the batsman bat swings & shots properly and then the camera moves to the boundary.
Please fix & hold the camera to complete the shots then move the camera with where ball going. You can follow ea cricket 2007, real cricket 24.
Secondly the reply also so fast we cant enjoy the crispness of the stunning shots because of very fast action reply. Please fix these two issues. Then the games will be more realistic. @bigantstudios

Hello Big Ant Team, First of All I love you 3000 for giving us some of the best Cricket games.
I am enjoying Cricket 26 a lot. But I miss one thing, which is making my bowling not that enjoyable. There used to be a small aftertouch marker when we do bowl in Cricket 24 and Cricket 22. That is missing from Cricket 26. Please add that marker, it was very helpful to setup bowling angles. I am attaching an image for reference to explain what marker I mean. I am refereeing to the red curve marked by an arrow.
Please bring this back. I think a lot of people will be missing this marker.

Great game with a few glitches like cutscene animations where 2 players are standing, sticking to each other. With the new update, the FPS issue has resolved but i reckon with decrement in visual quality. Bowling animation is out of the world but i think with the new updates batting animations need a lot of improvement with irl shots. Cricket 26 is one of the best cricket games in present time. Thank you Big Ant Studios.

Firstly a bit thanks for making cricket 26. Me and my friends have played every cricket series since Don Bradman Cricket 14 & we are still as enthusiastic.
Just wanted to bring to your attention a bug/glitch which i have noticed on PS5 which is:
We are unable to remove players from team editor > manage squad when we try it on licensed teams such as West Indies, Australia England etc. I tried to do it the other way by going into player editor and adding the player via selecting the player then >> manage associate teams, and it works through this method. However i have noticed once we close the game app and start it again, the player that was added to the licensed team is no longer showing in the squad and its set back to default. Please could you fix this also as we were able to add and remove players from licensed teams on cricket 24 and 22. I have raised a ticket on support website.
