In my experience this happens while there is an update going on. Please wait for the update to finish and then start the game . Hope this helps
Hey bigant studios. Thank you so much for this amazing game. 1 thing I would like you to improve is that the icc t20i World Cup is not the correct format of how the real World Cup takes place. This would enhance the games realism and make it a better game for that. This would mean we could have the 4 groups of 5 and then through to the super 8s. In my opinion it would make the game more enjoyable. Furthermore on this topic it would be amazing if you could play as 1 player in a international tournament for example you cannot play as a star player in your t20i World Cup. Thank you so much for reading. I would appreciate it if you could implement these into your wonderful game.
The game has evolved for the better with the latest patches in my opinion however played online for the first time in a while and disappointed that the spin bowling against the ai is still broken. Wicket Keeper diving through stumps on nearly every ball to catch before the batsman can play a stroke. Can this be looked at and fixed please
fielding is still very broken two AI fielders next to ball on boundary…They refuse to pick up…AI runs 5…happened multiple times….The game is good for most part but these glitches should not be happening. Keepers still dropping catches standing up

Yes, this happened to me too.
Still can’t remove certain players from licenced teams to start a t20 WC. Latham, Blundell, Nichols, Young etc all can’t be removed from NZ squad when selecting a 15 for the tournament yet players like Santner, Allen, Mitchell, Henry etc can all be removed? Makes 0 sense.
Nothing game breaking, but I was playing a t20 tournament match with South Africa against Australia and noticed that the bowling sound effects are happening as the bowler is still running up to bowl and then when he bowls the ball there are no sounds.
I haven’t noticed it with any other matches I played, I believe the next match is Afghanistan vs New Zealand, I will check tonight if it’s still like that.

I had the same issue a while ago. Bowler was Janco Smit downloaded from the academy. I believe he was using the “Bell” bowling action. The audio wasn’t synchronized with the animation.

It was happening throughout the whole match for me with each bowler on both sides. South Africa is Academy downloaded as they aren’t licensed in the game, but Australia is, so all the players from the Australian team was from the base game.
I just switched to Cricket 26 from Cricket 24 over the weekend and spent time testing across multiple modes (Competition Mode, IPL league, Ashes series, and Career Mode) to get a proper feel for gameplay consistency.
POSITIVE IMPROVEMENTS:
A very realistic and immersive improvement. Cricket 26 has bought the game changing revolution in the fielding for sure.

Overall Impression*
Cricket 26 shows clear gameplay improvements over Cricket 24, particularly in bowling realism and fielding balance. Addressing tournament depth and progression-blocking bugs would significantly elevate the overall simulation experience.
Perspective is something else….I came cold into the franchise so dont have a reference point but fielding is not up to scratch. The game has a lot going for it and it could be a great game if it nails fielding, poor keeper catching to spin bowlers, having ratings matter more, the ability to pick teams from the pool as opposed to 15 or 16 players you are given. I agree with your other points
Do we have an idea which countries are being scanned or even teams by Big Ant at the moment so we can prepare for more faces

Can or is there any way of switching off the ai changing my bowler cause it is annoying
seems not…… dont see why you cant skip to your player with the game keeping the bowlers until you change the bowler….you either have to SIM one over at a time and play the whole Inns without skipping it seems….dont get the logic
@MattW What refined batting animations did you add?
Main changes were related to style 10/11 - there were some shots that weren’t connecting right when batters had those styles.

God knows what they did with community in todays update, but I can’t see any player that I created or downloaded in player manager
They are visible in the team manager but not in player manager
