Would be possible if any of developers are in the forums for more custom competition options
Eg to choose the trophy and also a one on one test series of 3 tests?

Yes would love if they add a tour mode like they have in cricket 24 once the British and irish lions are added to the game it would be awesome to be able to recreate thier tour.

Agree.
Increase the amount of clubs in the competition. 8 max is not enough.
Add the ability to name the competition and add a custom logo for it.
Add the ability to select a trophy. You should be able to select the officially licensed ones as well as some look a likes of non-licensed leagues. Also through in some random generic ones as well.

New update unfortunately knockout option has an issue I have submitted a ticket it is starting a league format instead of knockout
I want to thank Big Ant hugely for increasing the number of custom teams to 20 on the latest patches notes for March 11 2025 patch I appreciate that the team is listening very much, thank you
You can now do a Lions series for example with 2 teams or go 20 teams and do a league. I think it would be great if for 20 teams or 16 if league / knockout was possible like Rugby World Cup format type but that could come later
Probably my only other addition is it would be great to be able to select the home team / nation for a tournament like in Cricket 24, it had something like this.

Yes this option was much appreciated. Hope customisable divisions/pools and league logos trophies, etc will be added.

Oh agreed Adam X I’d love ability to assign a cup or trophy at the end of custom tournament and also custom logo
I had look at options probably only thing would say is can we do a knockout 16 team or 8 team like short competition maybe Big Ant
No criticism on changes made good job appreciated it just needs maybe one or two small things to complete it

Hi Team,
There seems to be a bug with Custom Competitions.
The stadium Stade De France will come up as a venue on multiple teams for some matches even though it’s not assigned as stadium to those teams as I double checked they each have their own different home stadium. For the Bulls I had the stadium assigned as Loftus Versfeld to the custom team.
If this please could be corrected at some stage. Thanks

You can assign three home stadiums for every custom team
I think it would be good if we had a classic test series option and then select 2 games or 3 games from options
Then from this be able to select the home team for the test series and the games would all be played in one country
Just a small thing but could be big thing

Also would be possible to set stadium for final and also time of day of game

Would definitely be cool to have the option for mixed group/knockout custom competitions as well as being able to set specific venues, especially with 20 teams now being possible as that way a World Cup could be played.
One thing that is concerning having just picked up the game on Xbox though is that there appears to be no option at all for a knockout competition without a round robin first, is this something that has been removed in a prior patch or something yet to be incorporated?
Would open up a lot more possibilites in the game if such a custom tournament was available

I was thinking the exact same thing Tango I am glad other players have backed me up on this topic and happy to see Big Ant did patch in changes in previous patch just to help
The changes to increase to 20 teams in custom competition was excellent and appreciated
But the format of tournament was not really changed. We need like a knockout for 16, 8 and 4 teams and a pool stage / knockout system for Rugby World Cup
Being able to change the location of the grand final game to any stadium id like to see also
Really the addition of competition designer would be perfect but if we can’t have that I can accept it we just need a few more option tweaks to finish off the mode

You can change the grand final stadium at the time of the grand final. Allocate the stadiums to the two teams. Boot up your competition at grand final time. Stadiums will be allocated to hold the grand final. You can do venue changes at any stage during a custom competition. This works on PS5 for me

I tried it and it has stade de France for me both my custom teams have other home stadiums that are custom stadiums I created
I’m a little unsure how this works
It should have the fixture appear when you open your competition. As long as you allocated the stadium first when you turn on Rugby 25. So do that first thing, then open up your competition.

Can we please get a “Tour mode” as an option
So we can create a tour with an international men’s or womens team to a country.
You could do a Wallabies tour of South Africa. Play some of the URC teams with organised fixtures then 2 tests against Springboks. This kind of example.
