I hope Big Ant will put in more options for creating.competitions. options could be League, Tour, Pool, and Ladder which would take care of most tournament structures. Sub option under each could be number (pools/divisions) and choose tournament logo from existing or created. Tour could have where you add a list of stadiums to cycle through.
