Future Suggesstion

Hello BigAnt Team,

@RossSymons sir

I would like to share a few suggestions that could further enhance authenticity in the Academy creation menu and licensed player presentation.

1. No Wicket-Keeping Pads Option
Currently, five different wicket-keeping pad styles are available. However, in modern cricket, several players such as Quinton de Kock, Litton Das, and Mohammad Rizwan often keep without traditional wicket-keeping pads. Introducing a “no pads” toggle option would significantly improve realism. As this would not require new assets, it may be a relatively simple implementation.

2. Separate Sleeve Options (Batting vs Fielding/Bowling)
It would greatly improve authenticity if sleeve customization could be separated for batting and fielding/bowling. Many modern cricketers bat in half sleeves but field or bowl in full sleeves. Allowing independent sleeve selection for each role would add meaningful visual accuracy and customization depth.

3. Licensed Player Equipment Modernization
A large percentage of licensed players (approximately 90%) are currently using 1980s-style batting pads and gloves in-game. However, modern generic (non-branded) pads and gloves are already available in the game. Updating licensed players to use these modern generic models would greatly enhance realism.

Since these equipment models are already part of the game and are non-branded, implementing them for licensed players should not create any licensing conflicts or brand violations. At present, many licensed players appear with outdated gear, which reduces visual authenticity despite licensing being in place. For example, Jos Buttler appears with generic batting and wicket-keeping gloves, even though Kookaburra Kahuna gloves are already included in the game. Updating licensed players with the correct in-game branded gear would significantly enhance realism, especially since these players are locked and cannot be edited.

4. Player Model Proportions (Head Size Scaling)
Another important visual concern is player model proportions. Many licensed players appear with noticeably smaller head sizes relative to their body proportions, which gives a slightly cartoonish appearance. Refining head-to-body scaling for licensed players would significantly improve realism and overall visual immersion.

Overall, the continued improvements and commitment from Big Ant Studios are highly appreciated. Addressing these equipment and customization refinements would significantly elevate realism and player immersion in future updates.

Thank you for your ongoing efforts in enhancing the game experience.

All from me is just figuring out the DLS method with quite of few of my games going down to DLS and it not making sense with them chasing too low of scores and leading my teams to lose.

What settings do you have it set too. I have played about 50 games and only dls effected once. I have it set to default chance as increased default it rained all the time. Looking for more random

Online Medium Batting Balance - Straight Drives & New Ball Edges:

In Cricket 26, the batting and bowling balance for online Medium difficulty feels very unrealistic in two major areas.

1. Straight Drives and Full Deliveries are Too Hard
Right now, playing straight drives or defending against full-length/yorker deliveries is excessively punishing. Even with good timing, straight and cover drives often result in a “Poor Shot Choice,” weak hits, or immediate dismissals. Historically and realistically, presenting a straight bat to a full delivery should be the safest and most fundamentally sound option. Instead, the game currently makes straight shots the hardest to execute successfully. Please adjust the shot selection mechanics so that playing straight to full deliveries is rewarded as a safe, reliable option.

2. Missing New Ball Edges and Useless Slips
In Cricket 22, edges were a common and realistic way to get wickets with the new ball, making the slips cordon a genuinely important fielding position. In Cricket 26, it is incredibly rare to induce edges even in the first 2-3 overs of a brand new innings. Fast bowling with the new ball currently lacks that early-innings threat because the ball rarely finds the outside edge to the slips.

please add the remaining PSL playfaces

I’m so glad they added Rawalpindiz and Hyderabad Kingsmen. Especially considering the run Hyderabad Kingsmen had in the PSL.

I did notice however, that in career mode when playing PSL, the 2 new teams are not part of the tournament. Hoping to recreate Hyderabad’s magical run in Cricket 26!

can you all provide the bounce throw in fielding it looks very unrealistic without it

1. Add Shrey helmels because a lot of big players use shrey helmets for example: Virat Kohli, Babar azam,Joe Root,Steve Simth and many more…

2.Add Wasim Akram bowling action because he was the greatest left arm pacer

3.Babar Azam’s helmet size appears quite large, making his face look unusually big. This issue Is also seen with many other players for example: Ms Dhoni,Rishabh Pant,Sam Billings,Pat Cummins and many more…

4.Babar Azam batting grip is white in real and in game its green it has to be changed because green dosen’t look realistic and Babar Azam’s batting style 3 to 7 because 7 looks realistic

can you please add the option to have different sleeve length for batting/fielding in career mode. For example, being able to have the choice to bat in short sleeves and field/bowl in long sleeves. It’s very insignificant but it would go a long way.

The IPL style LED stumps and bails would be awesome!

Changing batting and bowling styles option should be open and the helmet problem of few players like Babar azam, Rishabh pant, MS Dhoni and Sam billings should be sourted in future uptades

Is it possible to add new bowling deliveries like Wobble seam, Carrom ball, back of hand slower ones. If not in Cricket 26 can we expect them in Cricket 28. These basis things are missing as if these deliveries don’t exist in real matches. Please do have some discussion regarding this.

Babar azam helmet size appears quite large in the matches as you can see in the picture this should be fix in upcoming patches
