Continuing the discussion from Rugby 25 Megathread:
I have been able to drive the maul fairly far, for a maul try. It is timing on when to add your players to the maul, if you add to early it can hold up the maul, and if you wait to long you can get penalized as well, I try to add 2 quickly and then I wait, if it starts moving forward, then I wait maybe 5 seconds then add 1 or 2 more. If you add all at once you normally do not get to far and can even be penalized. More then anything it seems to be timing based but without any reference with a meter or visual cues when to add other then you see the maul going forward and then anticipate to add more before it stops moving, but yes this should have variety as for how quickly the maul moves forward(its always the slow as molasses animation). So yeah needs work, but the amount of mauls I win to the amount I lose vs the AI is about right, just not sure 100% what the mechanics are.
