Don’t mean to be overly cynical but it seems as though the lack of promotion & information around AFL26 this close to release is so more people keep investing in PT in the current game for as long as possible.

No doubt we will, not sure on the time frame though!
I’m keeping everything crossed for a tuesday or wednesday visit next week simply because I already have those 2 days off so it makes it easier to navigate.
Otherwise I might be given a chores list to do around the house..

The lack of promotion is more likely because the last game’s launch was PR disaster. Any efforts to hype people up before launch will backfire on them like it did the last game.
If you follow the release of most of their games, it mostly happens from 2 weeks out.

I’m glass half full on the launch being far more successful this time around, fingers crossed anyway!
Just had the thought that maybe we wouldn’t need to build a nuclear reactor if BA released a menu screenshot with ‘unlock for 5000 PTC’ next to each item. The peace de resistance would be a gameplay screenshot with the message ‘You are about to lose. Extend the match for 2000 PTC or purchase additional goals for 5000 PTC each’.

While this would be something I would delete, as it is very off-topic. But I have no issue with any of them over there. I still read the stuff, as they do have good points sometimes, and I like that. I had no issues with the mods, they were always good with me. I believe I thanked them when we parted ways, it’s been a long while, I don’t recall 100%. They were great to chat to, and I personally have nothing bad to say about them.
While two users have continuously come in here to disrupt things. If they wish to come back they’re more than welcome to if they abide by the rules, but for the 10 or so accounts they made each they didn’t.
While I may refer to some people from BF keep in mind that it is the location and I am not associating them with the forum as an entity. It’s just where they have come from. Much like many of you are still over there and criticise the game still, and that’s 100% ok. Just like you were in the AFL23 area and had the same criticisms of the game again, that’s fine.
Thats the end of it, but again please keep it on topic.
