return is still OP but less, since overall gameplay is slower
you can still easily win by playing just drop shots (Expert) cause AI rarely punishes it. Even though it’s better now, since AI plays better at the net
there is still almost no risk in playing shots, especially drop shots and half volleys
no variability in AI play
animation lock for grandstokes which causes serve/return issue mentioned above
If I change the playstyle of a player added by the game his rating drops to 43 and I can’t change it back, in my example it’s a new player mpetshi pericard
-Still sad to see the state of the serve in this game. It’s not acceptable to see the AI serve second serves as first serve most of the time! The speed sensation is still so low. Can you seriously fix that please?
-The AI doesn’t change depending on the players! Is it possible to see a Federer going to the net more than the others? Or a Nadal hitting harder than the others? There is still no difference between the players, which breaks the realism of the gameplay!
One last thing: what is the stamina for? It has no impact, which (once again) breaks the realism.
Come on Big Ant, focus on these very important points and we can finally say that you have the best tennis game of the moment. Just a few more months of work and I think you’ll get there!
Agree with everything! i think nerving the halfvolley topspin would do a lot to the overall gameplay! Punchier sounddesign with strokes would also be loved by the community i think!
In general, the game still lacks good sensations, because of its graphics engine. The ball does not bounce enough, the players seem to play in zero gravity, and the AI hits too often in the same places (in the 2 corners of the back of the court). It is becoming very urgent to make the game more fun, with a more realistic shot and to remove these horrible slides on hard and grass that break the rhythm of the points!
In addition, I have noticed 2 small bugs since the last update that I am showing you in pictures:
