Completely agree, I too would not enjoy watching AI vs AI, and like it was mentioned in the previous post by Rugbywolf, why not just watch it on tv?
But if I may, I think some people use this to measure where the game is in terms of AI intelligence in attack and defence. If you can get a realistic score in AI vs AI, I guess the game is just about where you want it to be.
But, for me, if I can win or lose a match vs the AI with realistic scores consistently, I would say that I’m happy with where the game is.
There is no human element in AI vs AI, a person can think on the spot whether they want to break the line or kick the ball into space, at the end of the day, no matter how good your AI is, it’s still programmed.
I may be blabbering on about nonsense, but that’s just my thoughts.
