After a week’s absence, I did likewise this morning. In just five minutes I had the double ruck you highlighted the other day, a weird high, looping forward pass that was completely ignored by the ref, a penalty for not using the ball (triggered as ever by me trying to hold on for a split second, which seems to make the ruck mechanic unresponsive), and an AI maul that suffered a similar fate. It’s almost as if some matches are jinxed from the start, because others can run relatively smoothly and be enjoyable.
