They did and it’s really good they have fixed the issue with Coach Career.
But now there is a new major bug in which any players added to any teams/squads will not stay saved once the game is shut down and turned on again. Teams go back to default and added players are deleted from the team you have edited.
That’s poor.
I can’t get past Rnd 10 super rugby without crashing either during or in the aftermath hub….
Game is just purely bad. Played a few games and genuinely can’t string more than one pass together. haven’t been able to steal a single ruck so it’s pretty much a tackle simulator. Embarrassing
How do I notify of a bug? I’m playing career - super rugby and can’t progress past Round 10 due to constant crashing either during watch or after match hud.

Something to look into is when you either drop the ball or do a miss pass you can’t switch players making it impossible to contest for the ball on the ground.
But thank you for fixing the place kicking from penalty you can’t move it forward anymore

That’s all I have to say! I know that money was starting to run out in development but tell Nacon to stop the Rugby games and give them to people who don’t know rugby with fifteen players.
Since March 2023 (Announcement of Rugby 24 at the time remember!) Nothing is going well! The game comes out, and then no, and in fact maybe and then damn an Early access on PC.
I tried to be constructive during the whole Early Access but as soon as an update went in the right direction the next patch ruined the whole game!
So yes sorry to the defenders of Big Ant but it’s really not caring to release the game in such a state!
It’s not even playable, career bug, unplayable online and when the opponent rage quits it still counts as a defeat.
Seriously I know you won’t read my message and that you don’t care but I’m at my wit’s end! If it’s to make a rugby game… how do you say it in French? AAAA yes “à la Zob”. Well I would have preferred that you stay on Rugby League Live really!
We have no concrete information since Early Access, we have no release roadmap and you hope to perpetuate the license? This game will be the first and last for Big Ant.
And I’m not just putting Big Ant since apparently Nacon is managing the communication! When we see the success of the game “Gollum” it really doesn’t reassure me! I think this game is at the same level as Gollum.
So either Big Ant doesn’t have enough resources and knowledge (in which case staying on Rugby League Live I would take the Sydney Roosters with pleasure!). Or make another game that really lets go of rugby union.
The Forum is worse than during Early Access and I gave my feedback and today the game is WORSE than during Early Access!
AAAAA yes there are beautiful menus! AAAA yes I can play with the Bangladesh division! (really?).
AAA but the game is not playable and the offline content is buggy and everything needs to be reviewed.
156 hours of play to dissect the game and give constructive feedback to help the team as best as possible and the time I spent … it’s indecent. Yes I wasn’t obliged but Early Access is a tacit agreement between Developers and players to go together in the same direction!
This is not the case we are on our way, you are on yours and we see the trees telling you to be careful etc but you don’t care and you take the tree in the face!

A word to the wise.
Games needs major work done to it. Its almost impossible to steal the ball. The ai doesnt make more than 1 pass and i spent a whole gane in defence because tge rucks are terrible (please just add the rucks from rugby 22). You can’t add actual players to you created teams and can’t use the licenced team logos as well.
100% agree, but then Nacon on their official rugby 25 post says expanded patch notes will be found on BA forums but here we are nothing… it’s a shame because during EA I had so much hope, but now I don’t know,
How do we go from having AI being decent in EA7 but go back to EA5 gameplay wise where AI is useless can’t do anything more than kick or 1 phase passes. Game go 1 step forwards but 20 back
Like most rugby video games a lot of the complaints are from people who frankly suck at it and try to play arcady. If you suck because you’re spamming the pass button, not learning the ruck mechanics that’s your own problem.
I see World Champs face scan being implemented its nice…
But we need updates on the core gameplay if that would be possible.
Can we get more content from different commentators…Make it immersive these 2 commentators to boring and the crowd is to dull
Maybe some team flags waving around in the crowd and some mexican wave Rugby 2022 did that perfect…

But whatever im going to support Big Ant with Rugby 2025 but most important is Rugby Gameplay
Some suggestions for gameplay:
As soon as possible there has to be pod formations implemented and a way to put the flyhalf/open play kicker in the pocket and basically more forward phase play. They had them in rugby 22 and it really made the game a lot more interesting tactically than the Rugby Challenge series or Rugby 08. Please bring them in to this game because at the moment there just isn’t enough structure and there needs to be an incentive to build the phases. A lot of complaints are from people who are trying to play an offloadathon Fiji ball.
Set plays could be cool but in real life teams only use them off line outs and scrums. In Rugby 22 for some reason you could only use set plays off rucks but not off scrums or line outs which was illogical.
Running lines like Rugby League 4 which someone mentioned before would be cool but that might require some heavy work and not sure it’s a realistic option for this game, we’ve never seen running lines outside of set plays in rugby union games unfortunately.
The facebook post says there are expanded patch notes in the forum? Where are they? Even your communications teams arent working together now
People have been asking for a kicker in the pocket since EA1

Every single rugby game has had terrible AI. Rugby challenge would just spam offload and wide passes, there was no AI in rugby 08 and you could rack up 140 + points on elite level blindfolded, Rugby 22 was bad too.That’s not some groundbreaking point.
It’s not all that different to the other games. Rugby 06/08 and rugby challenge weren’t very like rugby union either, that’s just pure hyperbole and rose tinted glasses. They’ve all been bad and this was one is the same except it has slightly better licencing and presenation.

Just on career mode, pls adjust the transfers. I hate to see in my first 2 seasons Marcus Smith for example leaving harlequins to join the stormers in South Africa. Just wouldn’t happen irl because of the England selection rules. We need a more realistic factor to transfers on career mode.
Also, I was doing a test career on the game and got the New Zealand job offer. I’m not sure if I was missing something but I was unable to select a 32 man squad for example and was only allowed to adjust the initial lineup. I’m not sure if this was smthn I was doing wrong or not. If not please make it so we can select one whole team as well as the matchday 23.
Finally, on the academy I would love it if we could change what club players play for and change their ratings too. I think everyone has different perspectives on player ratings and from what I can see, right now you can only change player ratings of those you have created yourself. I’d also like to be able to transfer players in order to keep up to date with real life transfers
Such a disappointment it is a terrible game how has the game play gone worse since rll4 why do they bother with teams and leagues etc all we wanted was a game that we could play half my team are in the rucks getting counter rucked by a single scrum half the commentators are watching a different game no set piece rugby 08 which was 17 years ago had set piece so frustrating to play
All I want for the rucks is the rugby 22 rucks with a few tweaks. One of them would be adding on to the fact you can add more than 3 players which is counter rucks. I know its in rugby 25 but we can add it onto the rugby 22 rucks and for the defensive team, if players are added when the scrumhalf is trying to get the ball, the defensive team is awarded a penalty for attacking the scrumhalf. The jackle feature needs to be transvered across MUST. I also want the ability to DROP A PLAYER INTO THE POCKET FOR A DROP GOAL. I don’t know how this is not in the game but drop goals are almost imposible now. I also want set plays and again rugby 22 has come out on top. The ability to use set plays but not have it completely done for out is perfect. I honestly prefer this rather than a rugby challenge 4 where it does it for you. As the person playing the game you should be having to make the passes in set plays. I don’t want to be negative,I just want what is right for this game.
