Already that the AI even by breaking the first tackle is not too dangerous if they remove it my god boredom
Iām looking for a game with realistic defence and balanced gameplay, that requires skill, timing and good strategy, not a team covering 100m in 3 phases. I need my challenge to come from smart play, not broken mechanics.

Completely agree with you but for the moment we are far from being there and today to have fun a little bit the AI must be like this

If finding a high consistency of AI getting the ball stuck in the ruck, when you commit 5 players in to the ruck and just press and hold X (on the xbox controller) to steal it. As long as you have the 5 in and just hold it down, frequently having the AI not play it. I also lose the option to remove players from the ruck, instead of removing them with A, it seems to just cycle who on my team is being selected in the ruck.
Im guessing because you rush the 5 players in, the AI attempts to āhold on to the ballā and just refuses to let go. But would only be a guess, as I dont know why that stops me being able to remove my own players from the ruck.
It can also be tripped by Scrum Half beating the first 3 players to the ruck. Ive had incidents where a player arriving after the scrum half, will join the ruck, and the collision means in doing so pushes the scrum half model in to the middle of the ruck and they get stuck there. Also had it when if the scrum half arrives first and you use box kick quickly. Players will arrive after and your scrum half gets nudged, and you get stuck just moving the box kick trajectory line around cant use the ball.

Still no patch on Xbox
There will eventually be sliders that will provide full customisation, including the success rate of fends and bump-offs, but they will only add that at the end. At the same time, when sliders are introduced, we can all know that it is basically the final version of the game.

Iāve asked for a stall on the console versions while we look into this ruck issue. We hope to have an update on this as early as possible tomorrow.

This was discussed before and I believe it was confirmed, but not until the game is in a suitable place. Their other games have sliders as well
Mmmmh I might have the mole edition, played for about 1 hour and didnāt have the ruck issue all mentioned.

Yeah it took me three games to get it. Seems others are just getting it regularly. Still annoying.

Can we please have more options in custom competition.
32 teams or more would be nice
Group stage and then knockout format would be great.
Like world cup.
Also can we please be able to add real players to the real clubs/international teamsā¦ For me this would greatly improve the game.

Damn, I might have had the best move I ever had from AI against me in R25. I was surprised. Thatās not a lot but eh
Game is still in a pants state donāt get me wrong, and still a long way to go before being reasonable ofc

I may have missed something here but did PS5 get an update today or not?

Yeah, he was selling players and locking them up. The other guy blew his cover and thread was deleted. All those locked players are available for everyone now.
