Hi Team,
Just wanted to say a Thank-you for fixing the player appearances of all the Africa Nations Teams. All players with African names In all the teams appear to have dark skin colour which from memory was not always the case many months or weeks ago. The teams now look realistic. Certainly looks better and more immersive for on field gameplay and atmosphere.
Wednesday 16th all being well - every 3 weeks for updates, has been mentioned once or twice!
Jumped back on for a game for the first time in a few weeks, only for the first game i play to crash in the 73rd minute, and it was the kind of crash where it wouldnât even let me go back to the home screen, and after about 5 minutes of waiting, my ps5 turned off by itself!
Other than that rucks still broken, lost count of the number of times i had 2 or 3 over the tackled player with no opposition and no turnover, and stamina still not working properly, all players still had over 85% at 70 minutes.
Prime example of my above post. My 8 has made the tackle and is getting back to his feet, 2 is first to the ball and Iâm furiously tapping steal but he just forms a ruck, and then my 2 other players do likewise but none of them go for the ball. Opposition get one player there and win the ball. If this isnât a clear indication of a broken ruck mechanic then I donât know what is!
It is good I think It is just the small issues that need to be fixed so you agree. I think 1 update every 3 weeks is to long but I think the gameplay is fine itâs just the small issues
A few gameplay mechanics that need to be in the game:
This will make the game more realistic and strategic.
This will make the game more tactical and ensures we are balancing the risk element during play.
Let me know what you guys think but it the devs build this into the game it will take it to another level
After a weekâs absence, I did likewise this morning. In just five minutes I had the double ruck you highlighted the other day, a weird high, looping forward pass that was completely ignored by the ref, a penalty for not using the ball (triggered as ever by me trying to hold on for a split second, which seems to make the ruck mechanic unresponsive), and an AI maul that suffered a similar fate. Itâs almost as if some matches are jinxed from the start, because others can run relatively smoothly and be enjoyable.

The 3 weekly updates are FRIDAYS going forward so next update is a week tomorrow
@Tigersmad83 was that confirmed by BA? The post on X was published Wednesday 25th of June. It never said the updates were switching to a Friday just that theyâd be every 3 weeks so the next update would be Wednesday the 16th of July
Yeah, this is all on PS5. I mainly play Career Mode using URC clubs and also coach national teams, so these are the issues Iâve been seeing. Might be different if youâre playing other modes, but everything I mentioned is from my PS5 Career Mode experience.

Just a few suggestions to improving the game.
#1) Is it possible to make the crowd more active in the game. Like if there is a line break the crowd reacts to it or when there is a try. Also when you in the 22 the crowd is alot louder in anticipation of being close. Also when the announcer announces a try the crowd then reacts to that as well.
#2) maybe making the game more realistic with the penalties. Maybe when we tap the steal button too much it becomes a penalty for hands in the ruck and it will apply for the Ai as well.
#3) maybe have signs that the crowd has and the camera looks at them when there is a break in play.
#4) being able to add and drop players from teams or add a player from the community that someone has revamped.
#5) when we create a kit there is only space for 8 logos if maybe we can have unlimited logos on the kit to allow full creativity for all players.
#5) There is no difference between a 90 rated player and a 53 rated player. A 90 rated player should be making all tackles maybe missing like one or two but there should be a distinct difference between the players.
#6) maybe have different scoreboards that look the same as the hosted team or the same look as we see on the tv. Like for example if we play two URC teams the scoreboard is at the bottom in the middle with the same design.
#7) PLEASE can you add that we can have tours as well as create your own tour. Like the likes of the British and Irish lions tour or the castle lager incoming series or the winter nations series things like that.

Please can you change the momentum switch. If you score a try the difficulty changes. For example the Ai defence is very easy to breach and makes games unrealistic. The hardest level I am destroying New Zealand 60-21.
Maybe make it a consistent challenge making the player work hard for the win. This will make the game interesting and a grindđđŒ

But I doubt Big Ant will even read this yet alone make these changes.
I feel like their focus is on the new Rugby League games and not on improving this current union game. Almost as if they have given up. I doubt we will live to see another rugby union game, as good as Rugby 08.
One can only hope for your changes to come into the game.
Listen to us please Big Ant, we enjoy this game and hate to see it end like this. But with the negatives out the way, I am hopeful for the future. Letâs see what this new update brings next week Wednesday.

Have you recently logged a ticket with Big Ant support? That looks like the prompt they send when they want to fix something on your game.
What the game needs
1.Great your own tour like in the cricket games.
2. Set plays must be in the game.
3. Diffrent refs or make your own like in cricket you can make your own umpire
4. Ad playerâs to teams
5. Player Career mode
6. Pod options but forwards run the pods not the backline.
7. Talking prestations like end of the game cricket also has it in the game
8. Rugby championship comp licensed RSA ,Nzl ,Aus and Arg they are in the game
9. Need more player scan faces
10. Be cool if can show real faces at pre match prestations and when edit your team like fifa
