Given its not in the patch notes im assuming the AI breaking the first tackle every time is still happening?

I find the in play kicking worse, way under powered. But maybe that is a skill issue on my part lol.

I mean as usual everything is not fixed in one go and some of the biggest things some people want hasn’t either. But it isn’t the worst patch that has ever been released and JNT did say it was more a set up for later things this one.

Underwhelming but not bad :man_shrugging: maybe how I would rate it.

Hello Big Aunty,

thanks for the patch not changing much yet but preparing for huge changes i guess.
As usual, controller in hand feels a bit worse than previously, a lot of micro teleportations on skill moves, passes, kicks and rucks.
AI able to kick the ball while being tackled without even .engaging the kick animation.
Ref calling for an offside against me on multiple occasions on inside passes (forward pass eventually ?), but never against AI, they dont get penalized.
Ref calling for time stoppage because of serious injuries but neither game nor time stops.
AI has a great chance of intercepting the ball when doing inside passes on user attack. On the same situation with AI attacking, we dont seem to have the same effectivness in interceptions.
On loose balls, still can’t select and control any player.

AIs 50-22 have been nerfed. Havent had any 22-22 with the infintie ball bounce. Only positive change i’ve noticed.

Kinda disappointed with the 3 week long updates, does feel like another sorry excuse. Because we all know this clearly collides with RLL26 release, so i’m expecting the future updates to be as disappointing as they’ve always been for a year on now. Tiny baby steps but never once had a global vision of what a union game should play like.

As usual, i’m still wishing for you to prove me wrong.

Hey @JNT_BA is there any chance of us being able to edit squads? With the season coming to an end and international games starting up we can’t play as up to date squads.

I understand this is licensing related but pls if u could let us know if this is coming at any stage.

@JNT_BA can we please get a hot fix for:

  1. Quick lineout glitch, CPU runs down the sideline for a while then turns it over to me “in touch”

  2. Punt distance where the circle jerks back and forth. Now there are no 50-22s again :expressionless_face:

just tried an online game. Tackled player gets back on his feet and cant be tackled. Tons of tackles not happening, the invisible bug is back and worse than ever… we were on green status connection.

3 week span updates announced on the 25th of June sure feels like R25 is definitely still doomed for this summer, i guess we’ll have to socialize on holidays…

I remember the same narative after “day 1 patch” ! One thing for sure ,i dont want to be inside your shoes guys! RL26 getting weekly updates means the game is not where you want ! “Separate teams” my pants ! At the end off the day we all just want a good union game ! Good luck anyways!

Is there a possibility of adding the option to disable requiring to time general play kicks? Seems like a frustrating thing having to do from watching Mad Dragons videos

PC Steam Hardest

Haven’t commented here in a little while, but i want to thank the team for their continued efforts with the game.

The offensive side is really good for me now. Rucks are good for the most part, and i can often steal the ball by piling in. Some tweaks can be made, but i do play on hardest so i would expect a slight bias towards the AI with this.

I am glad the AI has now started to kick more. I know people were complaining about the excessive 50/22s but i personally was ok with it. In the latest patch they have dialed them back abit but the main complaint i have is that the AI is still not enough of a threat. IMO teams at the highest level (aside from a few outliers like Fiji) play for territory in order to play in the correct parts of the pitch. The AI should therefore look to kick for space much much more, and not just die with the ball everytime they make a break. They also need to utilise grubbers and up and unders. In the opposition 10 and 22 they can then start to spin it wide and see whats on. It’s ludicurous going mulitple plays in their own half without hoofing the ball away.

They also need to use a little bit more width. All too often they pass back inside, even when yoru defenders have been sucked in, trying to steal a ruck.

Defensively they are a little too easy to beat the in the backfield. The full back should realistically make more tackles, but at the moment it is too easy to swerve them and score.

Scrums and mauls need more work to make them a weapon, but i presume you are still focused on the gameplay for now.

The way things are improving though i am sure we will get there. Thanks alot.
