@Valhalla_Vagabond why shouldn’t it be changed? Surely it makes more sense that the catch button is the same whether it is a contested or uncontested catch. Currently it’s [ ] (PS5)/ X (Xbox) for the uncontested catch and X (PS5)/ A (Xbox) when it’s a contested catch situation. The least complicated is having the same button

I’m gonna go out and say it. I have been a no.1 hater of this game since the let downs. BUT something is happening…. I’m enjoying the game play? Defo helped buying rugby league 26 for comparisons but both are getting there. This at times feels so much more that RL26 but the high balls are a great change, rucks seem a bit more balanced and pace for certain players is working. The passing needs work but that being said offloads are kinda fun!
I am more than happy to swallow my words of negativity and say this is starting to feel like a step forward. And please keep the positive changes.
One MAJOR thing is I just want to see the name at the bottom of the screen rather than the number? And who the scorer is for example. Fix those little errors and things will be that more bearable

Maybe I misunderstood your comment. TBF I haven’t tried the contested catches to know what button it is. Game is too pants to play.
Sort of waiting until it becomes something like actual rugby, but maybe that will never be

Hotfix for cutscenes, graphics, replays and whistle being gone, as well as ball held up over try line 100% of the time, and penalties for knock-ons, please
Edit - All of a sudden, any team with an official stadium as their home stadium now play at Stade de France, even though it shows the name of their actual home stadium at the pre-match settings. Please hotfix this

In six games between PS4 and PS5, I haven’t encountered the contested catch meter once. Even if I had, I wouldn’t have known what to do, as nothing is explained. I wouldn’t know how to call for a mark either, if the AI ever decided to kick to my 22. Maybe it’s time to update the tutorials?

Honestly after this patch i dont enjoy the game is before…

Ruck mechanics is useless
Played a match on hardets difficulty with Springboks vs Georgia i never win a ball a the ruck these guys smashed me..
The kick are not going any further beyond the half line when do a general kick
The Fly half in the pocket needs to stand still or can move ony 1feet when do a kick..there is no time for us users to kick the ball..
The Side view camera is useless.
AI Bump offs need to looked at…
The drive tackle does not work for me i did miss several times then AI running thru me .
The game is really far from done…and its been 3years since working on this pants.
To be honest Big Ants just give up its already pants…
The bugs and stability is the biggest isssue

Ok I’ll address this one, I’ve been avoiding it. Lachie hasn’t been around for a while, he moved on to something in his field of expertise, which I fully support, and he’s really enjoying his new role at his new company. I miss Lachie.
OMG, so what you are saying is … Kelvin used Lachie as a scapegoat for all the Rugby 25 leaks so Ross fired Lachie on the spot?

No worries, hopefully they patch it back in again. It’s not the first time it’s happened.
I think once the mechanic or animations thereof gets addressed it will be much better. But what worked for me over the weekend was, I dropped the difficulty to medium and I managed to get some turnovers. (Tip: Once a player gets tackled I double press B and then X, if my timing seems right, then I get the turnover, again it might just be luck, I really hope once the mechanic is tweaked or reworked that it will make more sense what to do.)

I feel if that is the way how @JNT_BA and the team are increasing the difficulty, then they must atleast take away all this handoffs and sidesteps in the difficulties, because it doesnt make sense for us to make 40 tackles and miss 31, HOW?? Please look at this, kicking a bit more instead of cheating with handoffs etc, thats not Intelligent rugby, nor can ALL the teams play the EXACT SAME WAY. How can this not be changed?
Also below should not be allowed in Rugby UNION, seeing that its in the game, this should be penalties every time, theres too many of these tackles, can this be looked at please??
